I'd say the game crashed around september 27th. I was using the CSD Patch, and I didn't any modification to the database or Exe file. The CSD Patch is the only patch I have, beside the version 3.04 upgrade.


*I've started again from my last saved game, but I was down to september 7th. So I'll post again if i get the same crash and give more details about the error.

That would explain your error!

Try loading your game using the CSD Patch but set the Patch to the following start year (e.g. if you started in 2011/12 then try reloading your game with a 2012 start date in the CSD). If you're not running Finland/Russia then do this until you reach 1 Feb of season 2. If you are running Finland/Russia then do this until 1 July of the second season. This might fix your game - but I cannot promise that it won't result in a later error.

What version of the database are you using? v4.2b? v5.0? CSD version? 2006 adjusted version?

Are you using the Start Date Patch?

5.0 with the hardcoded date (2006), but I've resolved the problem with re-install the database

Getting a constant crash on September 10th morning i cant holiday beyond too. Using 5.0 with only graphical addons and CSD startdate 2012. Totally lost for what might be the reason The windows problem report says something about stackhash or Adam Oates

Sounds like a start date problem.

Are you remembering to use the CSD Patch each time you reload your saved game? You have to keep doing this until you reach 1 Feb of season 1 (or 1 July if you have Finland and/or Russia loaded).

Sure i do i have played so many games now with the start date patch now and always worked ..just with manimal 5.0 i get this issue now.

There's three things that come to mind:

1. Have you installed the DB into a subfolder of the database folder? I think it is always best to do this. It might be worth trying to install the DB again into a fresh folder.

2. Often a crash around September/October is caused because the CSD Patch hasn't been applied one time. Try creating a new game using the CSD Patch and immediately put it on vacation sim to see if you can sim beyond the 10th September (don't quit the game until you reach this date).

3. What leagues have you got running? We know that if you don't use an August start date with the Swedish league loaded that it causes a crash in game. It may well affect other leagues that we're not aware of. The best thing to do it to select the earliest start date that is available from the list of leagues that you have selected.

Ok, i started a new game now with just the NHl activated and it seems to work, probably the Sweden issue. because mostly i didnt have so many legaues actived as with the failed try. Will kust play with the NHL now i guess and also enjoy the fast processing time.

Run some tests and really looks like the start date problem, only problem i still have is if i wanted to play more leagues now on standard an only NHL on enhanced i cant because i only can choose the start date of enhanced leagues...but as i said will just play a not so detailed game then.

If you want to play with Sweden selected you have to select an earlier start date.

You could, for example, select Russia or UK on Enhanced so that you can use the 1 August start date. Then once the game has started, go to Options -> Selected Leagues and then put Russia/UK back to Standard.

Just got a crash 3rd year into the game running the CSD patches.

"Error v3.04 comp_stats.cpp 1752"

Anyone know whats causing this?

At what point in the game did you stop loading the CSD Patch?

Just realized the crash date coincides with Oct. 1 which is the crash date if not patched properly. Presumably somewhere along the line I must have not used the CSD patch properly I guess. Is there any way to fix it? Odd that this problem is occurring 2 years down the road though.

Hmm that is odd.

I don't suppose when you started the game, you loaded Sweden but used a North American start date (i.e. 1 September 2012)? I can't remember in which season, but this certainly causes a crash (but I think it is closer to January time. My memory is hazy (a lot has happened since we discovered that issue which is unique to only a few start years) - but Alessandro will know more. I'm guessing you don't have Russia or Finland loaded on standard/enhanced as you would otherwise have used the patch until 1 July.

If it is a start date issue, try re-loading you game using the CSD Patch. Set the year to whatever year you're currently in. I'm guessing you must be in the 2015/16 season, so load the game using the CSD set to 2015. You'll have to keep doing this until you reach 1st Feb 2016. I can't guarantee this will work in the long term, but it's worth a shot. You might want to make a copy of your saved game, load it with the CSD Patch and then leave it vacation simming until 1 October of the following year. Then you'll know whether this will fix your issue and whether you can continue playing with the original copy of your saved game.

Oh...you know what? I think I loaded all the big leagues including sweden, finland and russia...I basically turned all the leagues on.

Aha I see. In which case, you needed to keep using the CSD Patch until 1 July at the end of season 1. Also, you have to select an August game start date (the NHL's start date in September is too late for the Swedish league).

Are you using the v5 Rosters or the 2006 adjusted v5 rosters?

Have you made any changes to the DB?
