EHM crashes on the same date ingame / Corrupted Save File

Hi guys,
I have a problem and can't find a solution on forums here. I really tried it :)

On a certain date (June 2nd 2008) the game crashes and shows error "ehm2007.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and then error signature "AppName: ehm2007.exe AppVer: 3.0.4.6318 ModName: ehm2007.exe
ModVer: 3.0.4.6318 Offset: 0012a2c6"

I use official EHM2007, patch 3.0.4 and TBL_Roster_Update_v1.3.

On SI Games forum is no advice. I allready started the game over and it happened again on the same date.

Have you made any further modifications to the database or in extra_config.cfg?

Have you tried going on vacation to get past the day? Sucks, but sometimes works.


And yes we need to know of any other modifications you have made to the game to answer that question of yours

Or alternatively you may try to do something a bit different. Say like, throw someone to the farm team or fire a scout and then try to move over that date.

No, I've made no further editing in TBL db.
Now tried to fire 6 scouts and move 8 players to farm. Even went on vacation. And nothing. The error is still present on June 2nd 2007 (when changing to June 3rd).
I play with 11 leagues in standard detail and NHL in enhanced detail. I don't know, why is this date so special...
I'm going to try auto-simming the game from start and see how it will go through this date.
I'll tell you.

I removed all of the database and installed the game again, then used the newest rosters and it has worked perfectly since.

I had the excact problem as you, but thats how i solved it.

Which newest rosters? What exactly do you mean "used newest rosters"?
I reinstalled the game, repatched, loaded my previously saved games, but the error still occurs.

If that's the case, it sounds like you might have some corruption in your saved game. Have you tried starting a new game?

Well, my findings are:
1) after restarting the game with original db, I can get past the date
2) after restarting the game with TBL roster update 1.3, the game always crashes on June 2nd 2007.
3) after restarting the game with TBL roster update 1.5, it is OK.
4) exclusive rights to unsigned draft choices expire on June 3rd 2007 (Sunday), so this can be some reason or clue. I tried to release rights to such players - no effect.

Regardless of the sim detail level and selected leagues detail or anything else, it always crashes with TBL 1.3 update roster. I'm afraid I have to restart my game with 1.5 roster update :-( And hope I won't crash on another date...

Though thanks for 1.5 version! =D>

Mcqwak--

1. If you have deleted the 1.3 database you will not be able to run the saved game.

2. if you redownload and copy to your EHM file, the 1.3 database you may be able to continue the game...but not too sure.

Who knows why these things happen. We have not had that many people claiming crashes on our updates, but there has been one here and another there. What works fine for other people's puters, will cause a crash on another...

Who knows?

Game crashing on a specific moment

Im using lidas 1.1 database with game version 3.04 and the game crashes at december 15th 2009. I tried reinstalling the game or going on vacation over that date but neither solutions worked. Also, when the game crashes it says "ehm2007.exe has stopped working" then leaves the game. Im using windows vista if thats any important. Is there any workaround or fix to this problem.

My order ID doesnt seem to work to confirm my license. When i enter it it tells my its "unable to get license" as ive installed all the licenses for the product im trying to activate. This is why i installed a crack. Is there a limited amount of time i can install the game i didnt know of or is that a bug?

Don't crack it. Get valid licence and try again. Just DON'T CRACK. :thdn:

Have you used the license twice on the same computer and reinstall your operation system and forgot to unlicense EHM before reinstalling?

What do you mean by "unlicensing"? IIRC i've installed the game 3 times on 2 different computer before i had the current problem but i dont remember ever unlicensing EHM.

In Control Panel there's something called "eLicense", I think you can unlicense the game there and making a demo again.

And you said that you installed the game on 2 different computers? The license code for the game is just valid for 2 computers.

Piracy has absolutely no place on our forums whatsoever. It is illegal, immoral, and reduces revenue for games companies to produce future versions. You have admitted to running a cracked version of EHM and you are therefore permanently banned from our community. In mitigation, you allegedly have a legit copy but have used up all of your licences. Whether this is true or not is impossible to prove. If you were having difficulties with licensing then you could have either asked for help on our forums or you could have e-mailed eLicence Technical Support. Using the crack is inexcusable.

No more discussions/endorsements/admissions of cracks please.

The April 30th Freeze

After downloading the latest EHM patch from the Sports Interactive site and then the Lidas roster update, i began a new game with Leafs.

The game worked fine then i was approaching the season end and on the 30th April 2007 the game was updating then just froze. i went back to an previous save and tried again with the same results, i assumed it was just that game and started over again.

Now playing with the Habs, i approached the 30th April 2007 again the game just froze! Now there seems no point starting a new game as i can never get beyond the first season!

Has anyone else had this problem? Or know how to get beyond it?

Hi thanks for the advice just tried going on vacation now, but it still froze on the evening of the 30th April 07!

Any more suggestions?
