I always leave my players in the minors, and I use that extra year that I don't have to sign them for their development/saves an extra yr on their ELC.
Also, he'd be backing up Quick, and would fall behind the Hasek Regen and the Cujo Regen I drafted (Got pretty lucky).
Also, I can't pin this dude.
Also, when I said top rounds, I more or less meant that you should force your scouts to ignore the well known players.
Now that I look at that post...
I should have said:
Have 2 do the top rounds (ignore well known - no) and 3 with ignore well known on for the bottom rounds. Just takes in different amounts of talent.
I find that the scouts that DO ignore the well known have better reports on the lower ranked or non ranked prospects.
Make sense?
So when you say scout the "rounds" you mean that when you put a scout on not ignore you mean that they will scout the top ranked talent, when you put them on ignore well known they will scout the less ranked talent right?
If you have read through this thread you will know that regen's can be a different height.
Being Latvian doesn't mean he will be Latvian again, because Latvia is a non tradtional hockey nation, and it seems the programmers of the game have made it so regens from non traditional hockey nations can pop up as a different nation.

I've got to disagree with you, all the regen I have got the same height as the original player or maybe just 1 inch different, not 3 or 4. Plus, the 2 times I saw Irbe regen in my game they were all from Latvian, even if it's not recongnize as a hockey nation he is suppose to came from that country, like the Kolgiz regen always come from Germany in my games too.
Yes, there is only something like 1/180 chance of having regen's height vary from the original player, I am on year 2052 and I haven't seen any changes from players heights to regen's.
alexob18 wrote:Who knows who I got? This is all speculation... It's impossible for it to be Hasek, I already have him. I can tell its him.
I've never seen anyone from Hungary in the top 180, let alone top 30.
Remember when someone had that Dutch guy in the top 5?
Might be one of these again.
It couldn't be Hasek anyway, Hasek's regen will always be Czech.
Yes, but who is the original, looks like it's going to take some thinking on this one.
So I wen't through all the retired NHL goalies, and the only one I can come up with as a possibility is Reinhard Divis, but I really don't think it's his.
I wonder if Nabokov's regen doesn't come out Russian since he was born in Kazakstan, I'm going to say it could be Kolzig's for now, but only if there is a chance Kolzig's could come out not a German.
Ok, so 11', that helps, I wonder if any of the Swiss goalies come out as different nations, if so I would have said Gerber, but he's just 5-11, 6-2 seems too big, unless when regens change nations they can also drastically change body types.
That's interesteing, considering when I've played Hasek's gets ranked and taken in 09', maybe he retired later in your game, or it could possibly be another Czech regen.
No, he retired late. I don't know why, but I remember seeing his retirement pretty late (08-09ish) and marked the '11 Draft down as Hasek Draft. Came out with 3 possible starters in the NHL, including Hasek. Though I think this guy is better. (Hungarian guy)
