I used the NHL website to do some simple research, and I think that I have Chris Mason here, based on the fact that the height is the same, glove hand is the same, and his weight is slowly reaching Mason's. And the fact that Mason probably would have retired in the right timeframe to be regened in Edmonds' first year.subi wrote:Wondering if anyone could take a guess at who this might be. His first season in his stats is 2012-13, but the only Canadian goalies in the Hall of Fame from around that time retired a year before that or a year after that. Or is he just some random guy? Using Lidas.

I'm still wondering about this, also i was wondering what draft year is the first for the Canadian and American regens that retire on the first day of the game? I've looked through the thread and theres no specific answer. I'm going into the 2011 Entry Draft soon and I think i have found the Sean Burke and Rob Blake regens, but im not quite sure if this is the year for them or if it is the 2012 Draft. I was wondering....a regen got all the same things that the original player do ( weight, height, shooting hand and position ) But, it's time for the Forsberg regen to show up and i search it intensely. I found a guy who got all the same thing as him but for one thing......his height his 6 foot instead of 6 foot 1. Those the 1 inch missing really mean that he is not the Forsberg regen? Thanks for the answer, i've always think about that but never think to ask.

Philou21, here you have it summarized. As for the height: he surely can grow and become Forsberg one day
It depends on the actual age of the regen. 15-17 y/o regen hasn't the same height/weight as the original player at 40...

batdad wrote:Information tab. If there is a number there...regen. If not...no regen
Regen attributes that are consistent with original player.
1. Country of birth
2. shooting hand
3. position
4. flair
5. determination
6. bravery (I believe)
7. Adult height and weight (I believe).
May be some others too, but those are the general ideas.
Please list others.

How much of this is the same in EHM 05? For example, if the player matches 1, 2, 3, and 7 in 2005 - does that gaurantee he is the regen?McQwak wrote:Philou21, here you have it summarized. Í'm not sure but I'd bet that you can count on it. Although, all these attributes guarantee nothing. He can still be a regen of someone else or a randomized player. I think all the regen identification methods are very vagueshooter_80 wrote:How much of this is the same in EHM 05?
