The "Big Line" was a nightmare most of the year but I thought they'd scapegoated that onto Bertuzzi already and outside of that the rest of the team did quite a job getting them where there did make it... The Sedins really fullfilled their potential this year and who has been coaching them since they were drafted? The team was hit by giant key injuries and ended up relying on a rookie goaltender and losing Jovonovski, who is a real key as far as their powerplay and leadership, for an extended stretch.
I guess I'd have to say that I think the problems were bad luck and some personel/chemistry issues... I'm not sure if any of that is addressed by firing Crawford so it surprises me...
