Updating the history in Manimal v4.1 - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Neither of these leagues are listed on the DB, but Davenport is. When I look at Davenport in the pre-game editor, Davenport leagues are empty. Any suggestions? Can I leave the League field blank?

Manimal hopes to update the WHL because the league is out of date. Therefore the is no point in adding their histories at the moment because the rosters are likely to change significantly. If/when the WHL is updated we will look to update the histories.

As I haven't had a response from a number of users to a message I sent a week last Friday (which was enquiring whether they still wished to help with the project), I'll assume they are no longer able to help out. I have therefore freed up their teams and highlighted them in red. As per usual, if anybody would like to claim those teams then just post in this thread.

I appreciate those users I messaged may not have visited TBL since I sent that message. If any of them want to reclaim their teams then they can drop me a message in this thread.

Once we have completed all of the teams and leagues below, this project will be complete!

Just to clarify: When researching player career histories for a team, you should go by the team's roster in Manimal v4.0 and not the current real life rosters. We are looking at all contracted players and not just those currently on the NHL 23 man active roster, etc.

To find all contracted players in the Editor, you will see them in the far right hand column in the Staff History Menu. If you're using the spreadsheet method, you will find the team's roster in the Player_list.xls file.

The reason for this is to avoid two users researching career history for the same player because this would result in duplicate entries in the game.

In order to ensure that we get each league complete, I think we should concentrate on teams based in the following leagues to start with: NHL, AHL, ECHL, OHL, QMJHL, German DEL, Russian KHL, Slovak Extraliga and Finnish SM-Liiga. Once we have covered all of those teams, we can decide whether we want to end the project or perhaps research a couple more leagues.


RED = This team is available for research.
GREEN = Data researched and/or entered into the Editor.
BLUE = Archi has received the data and imported into the Manimal Rosters.

I know I said I didn't really want to expand beyond the leagues we have (because I think we should finish the remaining teams first) but he hopes to complete the entirety (or at least the majority) of the Extraliga.

I'll update the list to reflect Mike_B's, Airiskohvi's and Lukas' team picks.

First of all, let me introduce myself to you, my name is Eugene like Malkin you know, i'm 27 years old and i'm from Russia, Moscow to be correct. I'm huge fan of the NY Rangers since i was 11.

I became big fan of the ehm from the very begininng, i mean since 2005, when it was released. i was impressed with the way creators put predictions of players evalution by years, i mean how accurate and reliable it was. By saying this, i trying to point it to those young stars who had become actually stars just following few years after, such as Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, Toews, Kane and many more. By that time i have completely fallen in love with the game.

I quit playing it, when i have realized, that there is no support of the game itself, all of u know how it's annoying to play the game nowadays with actual team roster, where there previous years of history and achievements are missing, i still can't get over it, even though i have customized interface of the game with the way i like, i made my own backgrounds of each nhl team and each rangers player. So i have started to search via google, where i might be able to find fixed databases and i have found this one, so i decided to follow it right from the get-go. And i must give a credit to all of you guys, which are involved into this project, especially to archi and manimal, u r make my day fellas. Awesome job!

But if i dare to ask, i wonder to know how more long u suggest it will take to finish research? I'm so eager to start playing once again.

P.S.If i have had little bit more of free time and skill set to help you guys, i'll certainly do so, but don't have neither of it. And ofc sorry for my poor language, i have never studied it, just learned it on my own and keep doing it.
