Another dramatic ending in the Sens vs Habs game! Weise is such a good player when it counts. Anderson played an awesome game as well. Ottawa came out strong in the first, they destroyed the Habs with hits and hits and hits. Still wasn't enough. I wasn't expecting MTL to lead 3-0 today.

Weise played in the Dutch division two years ago. Not a bad player.

So how will the 'Nucks fans spin the ending of Game 3 to blame the Flames, Hartley or the refs? Just remember Vancouver, the city you riot in is the one you live in.

Re: Official 2015 NHL Playoff Thread
How did the Flames handle end of game 2? That is how Canucks will deal with it. Same thing, opposite way. Flames crashed and burned, Canucks crashed and burned. Now....ig Burrows gets suspended that is an issue, as clearly Russell came looking for Alex after the hit, and the Ferland hit on Sbisa was EXACTLY the same hit.
If Hammer gets suspended--not a problem. He should get one.
Instigator? Yeah no...even more obvious by the rule that it should not have been one than Engelland.
But man what a heated series. So fun to watch. Ferland is hilarious....he came out after the game last night and told the media that his mom said he should not hit the Sedins, because she likes them. Totally awesome.
As for the cheap shot at the city...get with it there bud...the people who have caused both riots are not real hockey fans...they are clowns with nothing better to do. The last one was even a bunch of morons in black outfits there well before the game even ended. But yeah....those morons are an embarrassment to the city.

So I was at the Dome last night and wow, did it ever rock!!! Fans were fantastic and the 50/50 pot was $215,000. If only I would have won. My buddies and I got a pic with Rhett Warrener and I happened to meet Ferland's aunt at the phone charging station. She was a very proud aunt! Atmosphere was electric and the Canucks fans we were around were classy in defeat. Backlund has played superb while Stajan, Ferland, and Jooris used their physicality well. Loved how Brodie played overall and the stuff at the end was just silly.
If there is a game 6 and I do think there will be, I have tickets for that game too!! Go Flames Go!!

Buf isn't helping his team by doing Adam Oates like this though, suspended when they were fighting for playoffs and taking lots of stupid pens in the playoffs.. He needs to calm down...

Good job steviewhy, real mature comment. As much as you can hate a team, acting like this will never achieve anything, especially on the ice. Buff should just calm down and take a deep breath.

Blindside sucker punches aren't cool, but we are talking about the guy who has repeatedly used his skate blade as a weapon, and has only been suspended one time in his career and it was for an elbow.

Re: Official 2015 NHL Playoff Thread
Alex Burrows leaves practice holding his arm or wrist. All kinds of weird stuff around this. Reports he asked for help, reports he was just being silly with the media. Then he is taken on stretcher to hospital for precautionary reasons, and is out of the game tonight.
Canucks are saying this is not a medical issue, but is an injury situation and he will not play tonight. Sven Bartschi likely to draw in. Wow.
Anyway...Canucks are definitely now saying that is not life threatening situation or issue, but he will NOT be playing with something going on. Speculating now that it may be related to game the other day.
Urgency around the situation is a bit weird.

Beaulieu is out of the first round of the playoffs. Most likely a concussion from Karlsson's big hit.

Re: Official 2015 NHL Playoff Thread
Clean and hard hit on center ice, we don't see those often now. Concussion is the best guess but maybe it's something else, he did finished the game sunday and right after the hit he was up and didn't looked confused. And hypocrite much with the "..."?

Re: Official 2015 NHL Playoff Thread
What, how do you mean hypocrite? I meant nothing with the "...", that's just how i write when i'm lazy
I don't hate Habs so much that i wish their players hurt, that's reserved for Cindy
And yeah, nice clean hit, sadly Beaulieu wasn't ready at all and was a bit crunched over so it got his head some, probably concussed yeah.

At least it wasn't as bad as Gryba's hit on Eller 2 years ago. Beaulieu'S head wasn't that low luckily for him but that was the exact same dangerous play.Peter_Doherty wrote:And yeah, nice clean hit, sadly Beaulieu wasn't ready at all and was a bit crunched over so it got his head some, probably concussed yeah.
