Well it started today, so it's time for a new thread.
Watched a little bit of RUS-CZE today. Game was pretty boring. Now Finland vs. Belarus and later today USA vs. Canada.
Got big hopes for Finland this year... probably ends in a disappointment.

Latest friendly matches:
Czech U20 - Denmark U20 5:0
Russia U20 - Denmark U20 5:0
Russia U20 - Czech U20 1:1
It must be a draw.
Sweden U20 also beats Swiss U20 8:3. No surprise yet.

Dirty dirty hit on Nylander, such a shame since he would have been one of the main attractions of this WJC.

Atleast the Swiss player got suspended, only 3 games though, i thought it deserved more. Apparently there is hope that Nylander can return later in the tournament aswell.

I do not think it was intentionally dirty. It turned out that way, but I think the swiss player just wanted a good solid open ice hit. 3 games is surprising only in that whenever someone from Canada body checks someone in international hockey they get 20 games.
Wonder what DeBrincat will get for the spear, if anything...since it came against Canada.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, i don't think the Swiss player was headhunting, but the hit did end up that way and i think 3 games is on the low end of what it deserved. DeBrincat should get maximum of 1 game for the spear, it's dirty and the easiest 5+game of that refs career but the risk of injury is super low with something like that.

Lol, Finland dominated Russia.. leading 3-1. Then somehow "we" became so utterly Lindros and the game ended 6-4 to Russia. Our goalie had a really bad game (19 shots/ 6 goals)

As a whole, we played better though, which shows promise to the rest of the tournament.

I think IIHF used to upload full matches with their YouTube account, but I do not see them having done so, at least recently. Does anyone know where one could find entire international matches?
EDIT: I shall wait with interest what kind of repercussions the Case Kamenev will have...

Don't those have country restrictions? At least the live games are only available in countries where no TV channel owns the broadcast rights. Not sure what the rule is regarding older games.
