Never before had I reckoned Finland to be the favourite in any final. Shocking how averse the reality turned out to be in comparison to the expectations.

Maybe it's better if I just don't say anything. 8-[

Finland definitely had the best team in the tournament, I was sure they would win. As ehm would say, Canada showed themselves as a force to be reckoned with.

I wouldn't really say that. Canada & Russia had great players also.

First game for Latvia this tournament and it's a crucial one- against Denmark. I'm nervous :\

I am curious, too. Denmark can not be underestimated. I keep my fingers crossed for Latvia.

If you have Opera browser you can watch them as it has inbuilt VPN. :-) If you don't have the tools.

I thought Italy just about deserved the win.

Did they play the wrong national anthem at the end of the game? There seemed to be a lot of angry Slovakians at the end.

Yeah, they played some uncommon version of national anthem of Slovenia 8-) Usually we get mixed the other way around (flags etc). Unfortunately, though, the singing fans did not override the booing fans at the end, would be much nicer to hear them sing than boo :)

SWE 7:2 GER

40 min played well. In the third period, we could no longer keep up with strength and Sweden was merciless.

NOR 3:2 FRA

Finland is soooo bad! I don't even wanna watch them play. France leading 3-1 after two. ](*,)

They even struggled at times against Belarus in the first game.

This is nuts: https://twitter.com/Buc07/status/861186520774041600 :-o

A two game suspension for something so dangerous seems very lenient...

SWI 3 - 0 NOR

Turned out to be a pretty one-sided game after the first period. Norway were fortunate not to concede more. Cody Almond looked good.

I have not given up. I still have faith. Faith in Marjamäki and that he can avoid relegation!

I'm confident we can win Norway on Saturday, and with two victories we'll surely avoid relegation! :joy:

After second Period. GER 0:5 RUS

Refereeing is an absolute disaster! Nevertheless, Russia is clearly superior!
