Help: EHM online keeps crashing when trying to save the game (06.06.2018)

Post by Saytham1980 »

Hi guys.

I'm part of a german online league that is having some huge issues with the stability of the EHM 1 (or maybe the server?).

From my very short time with the WHL in 2015 I remember issues exactly like that. Did you guys manage to get rid of the freezes and server breakdowns? Or is it something you just have to live with and get used to it?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Re: Help: What server requirements for Online league?

Post by Saytham1980 »

Hi guys.

I just changed the name of the topic I used in early April.

Right now we're checking if it's possible to get less EHM downtime through crashes and more availability of people (remote access) who can restart the EHM once it has crashed.

Having just one guy using his private server to host the EHM online league is just... not good. Makes everything very vulnerable and we have to handle heavy downtimes. Does anyone of the more experienced guys here have some useful information on server requirements? Maybe even some choice of products?

Thanks in advance. :)

Help: What server requirements for Online league?

Post by Saytham1980 »

Managed to get a virtual server and all the EHM data has been transfered successfully. My first ever sim worked fine, as well. But now the issue is, that people can't connect to the online game. When clicking their franchise the status stays "Playing" after entering the password instead of moving forward to the front office. Any idea?

I also did put them all back "On vacation" with the host before.

Help: EHM online keeps crashing when trying to save the game (06.06.2018)

We managed to get the league running on a vServer, but now it seems the EHM keeps crashing when trying to save the game.

Fixed the issue when it went from Sep 30th to Oct 1st - thought it had sth. to do with switching from Pre to Reg. Season or the change of the month.

I managed to save several times yesterday and today. Now I just wanted do do another save and the EHM crashs while trying. So I take the last save that worked just fine to save... made everything ready... tried to test saving... crash.

Makes no sense. Please... I'm really happy for any advice here. :(

Thanks in advance.
