Hey all,
Haven't played in a while and wanted to get back into it. Downloaded the TBL 10.3 rosters in steam and went to play. But the cap was 74.5. So I wanted to change it to what it is. Couldn't find the transfer_rules_config.cfg file though.
So I tried downloading the editor and I changed it under the finance tab but it didn't seem to take. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?
I'm on windows 10 if that helps at all
Thanks,
Changing the salary cap

Changing the salary cap
Hi everyone new here.
I'm currently doing a league revamp pack on the EIHL based in the UK basically what id like the league to develop into, wanting too add a salary cap and maybe a draft. I've gone through all the teams and made the player budgets all the same and above the max of the salary cap which ive done via the finance info tab on the editor. However once ive saved this and tested the database none of my changes are taking effect.
Any and all help much appricated.
Thanks.

Changing the salary cap
The salary cap is set via the Transfer Rules screen in the Editor. There's a section in the top right of the screen relating to salary cap. The Finance Info screen sets salary spread and salary budget limits teams will allow (but not a salary cap). E.g. the wealthier teams will be at the higher end of the limits you set.angus88 wrote: Mon May 13, 2019 6:44 pmthe salary cap which ive done via the finance info tab on the editor.
Also check whether there is a transfer_rules_config.cfg file in the same folder as your database.db file. If so, check whether there is a "SALARY_CAP" entry relating to the EIHL. If so, this line will need to be deleted.
Unfortunately it is not currently possible to add/remove drafts to or from leagues.

Competitions -> Finance Info -> Max/Min wage budget
I've tried editing it, but it doesn't change. Im trying to edit a saved game, but it wont work. I have done it before.
Still waiting on an answer to this

Save game editing is very tricky and not really recommended, but people have had luck using the EHM Assistant: viewtopic.php?t=13874 to change the cap only.MikelPickle wrote: Sat May 25, 2019 5:49 am I've tried editing it, but it doesn't change.
