Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there was a large facepack available that only featured the plain mugshots of players. I play mainly fictional leagues and as a result I am unable, for my ends, to use picture sets that already pre-assign names and/or nationalities to players. As a result, the Devil88/TBL sets are not appropriate for me because of all the hard work the author(s) have put into them. I am currently relying on some older CHL and European sets but these tend to contain rather fewer photos. I am unaware of "plain" NHL packs or other North American packs.
Can anybody point me towards a solution?
thanks

Re: Mugshots rather than trading card look
I am not sure I understand you correctly here, but if you play with fictional players, then I don't think any facepacks will show, as they rely on the player names in order to display.Pierre-Luc wrote:I play mainly fictional leagues and as a result I am unable, for my ends, to use picture sets that already pre-assign names and/or nationalities to players.

Thank you ElQuapo. I realize that the fictional players will not match the pictures offhand. However, I would beneift from a pool of pictures of guys who at least look like hockey players and which I can rename to match my fictional players as I sim along. With the Devil88/TBL pictures, I can not pretend the guys are fictional since their names and country of origin are embedded in the picture, and the look chosen for the trading card uses a much reduced mugshot, so I can't blow it up using a graphic tool without losing significant resolution. Does that make anymore sense?

Ok yeah, in that case you could use all the pictures from the 2005 version. There are also mugshots available here on the site and some at http://www.sportsgamer.com/forums/downl ... =cat&id=22Pierre-Luc wrote:Thank you ElQuapo. Thanks again. I will look at that sportgamer site. With respect to the EHM 2005 pictures, many crop the mugshot and add the player name and a country flag, enhancing the look for some, and making it less appealing (or more editing work) for non realistic people like me. To each their own though, I don't want to stir the debate between the two, just find out where the plain mugshots live.

If you have the 2005 version yourself, then the pictures included with it will also work in 2007.Pierre-Luc wrote:Thanks again. I will look at that sportgamer site.
