i think i have put wrong numbers in the xcel file.
i have put in wins where i should put losses on several of my postings today.
should i withraw from challange or is it someway to redo this?
i could just be out of competion first seson and enter it with my second seson.i have followed the rules and havent made one single trade and worked hard with the team. feels bad just quit couse i put wrong numbers in a program i am not used to handle.

Actually, for NTNB, maybe we should post a screenshot of our players drafted (go to transactions and change the view to NHL Entry Draft) for each season. That would show them all in one screen for that season. That would show that those players became your property via the draft. Then you would only need to post the games played screen if the player is used as a homegrown.

Hem, little issue with players in/out screenie after 20 games. I had no internet connection this weekend, so didn't see the message that it was needed after 20 games even with old school rules.
I'm now over the 20 games mark, but have no save game at the 20GP mark (i'm around 30). Is it a problem if i post a screenie of players in (3 waiver picks... all fringe guys) and players out (none) a bit later than the 20 games mark?

If you gave a qualifying offer to your guy, he rejected it, and you are unable to find any agreement before july 1st, he leaves as a restricted free agent. Other teams can sign him. If they do, you have one week to either match the offer or accept the compensation (if any).
Beware though that it has been reported the game sometimes doesn't give you the possibility to match offers!

I think stats have only been entered once so far. You probably didn't have anything posted at the time that those stats were entered. I'm in there but I'm only showing 40 games played. I've finished the first season. It just hasn't been updated. It's really not a big deal though. The challenge doesn't end for quite a while

as for the RFA question. No computer team has in 2 years of playing this game. Not just me but 1000s of GM's. Noone has ever reported a computer GM signing the human controlled GM's RFA. So...if it happens in your game Salming..not really sure how.
And you post that way after me asking you not to? With the i's and text speak? Twice. Please stop. Next time will solicit a PM. I can barely read your posts.
Note: I Am an old man I don't wnt to have to try and translate something that is in my own language. Any reason for not typing correct English is just an excuse. and around here....we ALL KNOw what we think of excuses.
Please start posting correctly. Thanks

The signing of rfa is unclear in the rules.
If a player is rejecting a qualifying offers during the seson and leaves the teams as an rfa. Does the nntb rules prevent me from signing him back to my team with nntb rules or does that count as an signing of a free agent wich is forbidden in nntb.
example. ballard have an huge 2 mill wage wich expires in 2008. he doesnt want lower offers and many managers including me feels hes not worth 2 mill a year wage. If he rejects qualifying offers and leaves team 30/6 and becomes and rfa. is it then allowed try to sign him back as rfa ?

He's still your property. He's a RFA. In NTNB you are unable to sign UFAs.Salming wrote:The signing of rfa is unclear in the rules.

Quick Question:
3. You can select your game to 'run' as many leagues in standard or enhanced as you'd like.
You have to at least set up your game with NHL, AHL, ECHL and Canada's Junior teams set to 'Enhanced'. We make these concessions for people with slower machines.
I have everything in enhanced mode when I started, but I'm still runing 'All' for the detail level. I know we have to coach our games in the NHL.. but can we run the other leagues in quick sim? I ask because my computer sucks and it takes me forever to go through the games!
