Another naff season on a naff Kelowna Rockets team saw my draft ranking plummet to 24th overall. Still the first round, which is nice... but New Jersey! Aaaargh, trapped behind Brodeur (please retire early!) in the armpit of the universe!
I'm surprised Kelowna didn't fare better with Marek Timura ripping up the score sheet (3rd in WHL scoring). At least we made the playoffs this year!
I grew another inch and packed on four more pounds - 6'3", 189 lbs is a nice size for a goalie. The scouting report still has me as a starting goalie, like Ilya Bryzgalov. Not bad!
Agility, Strength, Passing and Positioning all up by one, Stamina up by two. Not bad, but I'm curious if any of the other goalies are keeping track of there stat changes? I know I could look for myself, but I'm lazy!

My development has also slowed down. I growed a bit, went up few pounds, that's it.
Dream of becoming new Marian Gaborik is slipping away
...we'll see...
Now it starts to be interesting. Who's gonna be the first to play a NHL game? Who's gonna score the first goal by a TBLer? Who's the lucky to win the Stanley Cup? Are we gonna be part of a blockbuster deal?

Nope. My gimpy knee and sore Hasek will manage to some how make it out to the rink to score my first NHL goal in game one of my rookie season. Then I will miss the entire year after some goof (I am betting on Nick Calv) taking a cheap shot at my healthy knee--(of course he picked the wrong one, he does not know right from left..he is just a math guy). Then I will miss the entire season, and will make it back just in time for Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final...play one shift in Double OT and score the winning goal (which of course will bounce off my chest into the net on a shot from some defenseman who shoots like Al Macinnis, causing my team to win the Stanley Cup) Of course, there won't be much celebration as I writhe on the ice for 2 minutes and then die of cardiac arrest.
But what a career! 2 games 2 goals, OT game winner in Game 7 of Stanley Cup final...the only thing better than that would be to make love to Kate Beckinsale...oh wait...I look exactly like her! Hmmmm.......

I grew an inch and packed TWO POUNDS! I'm now 6'4" 196lbs. Scouting report got dialed back a bit. 2nd line potential. Better version of Nick Tarnasky. Now THAT I'll take! Also, based on 70 games they expect me to go 60/60 for 120 plus 160 pims. Sadly, only thing I improved on attrib-wise is 1 point in creativity. Would really like to improve my shooting though. By the time I'm draft eligible it should improve. And batdad, I'll try my hardest to take you out first game we play.

1st line character foward... I'll take that. My developpement has really slowed down though... and I'm beggining to think I messed up the distribution of my skills.
Still, I have a couple of years in Harvard to put my cute Quebecois accent and my 6'4'' muscular frame to good use and get me a doctor/lawyer/sugar mommy wife to fall back on if I can't make it.
I hope she's not the Pronger wife type though... 40th overall to Calgary.
