past years players statistics lists

Post by KevT90 »

Hi everybody,

As I was looking at some old statistics in my game, I was trying to find if it was possible to have access to the past years season players statistics lists just like what we have when we go in : NHL -> statistics (players) for the current season. In other words, is it possible to see who finished 4th NHL goals scorer in 2009 (taking in consideration that you are in 2011 for exemple). Cause for now , it seems we can only see, for the past years, the player who finish 1st for each statistic (goal, points, assists, ppg, etc ...).

Thks a lot guy !

And by the way, good job TBL for keeping alive this game with very nice updates, database, challenge, etc. !

sry for my english ...

This is why I make a save point at the end of each season. I burn them on cd to keep the hard drive from filling up.

There is an export option (isn't it called 'Print'?) that allows you to export data as txt or html (if I remember correctly). You should find the button on many screens in EHM. You might be able to export the data you want at the end of the season that way. You could then import it into Excel.

I often take screenshots of the statistics pages to have a more in-depth history.

I have looked into this, but unfortunately you can only export one team at a time, or the top 50 players, and not a whole league or the whole db. It would take a lot of time to get all the teams out, index them all, and clean up the text files which are not exactly Excel-compatible - even with some Excel tricks there would be a bunch of manual cleanup. So this is not a very effective method to archive or save player stats, for example to save player stats for retired players.

If anyone knows how to get a data dump from the EHL db into a csv file that would be ideal - and I would be happy to take that and make a little db and some web pages to browse/search.

I have looked in the game and can't find a way to show total career stats on a list of active players. Is there a way to do this? In my game Hossa just passed the 1000 point mark and I want to know who he is trailing and when he could take 1st place among active players. Any ideas?
