After being rated #13 I was Drafted #19 by the Oilers. I am very surprised... I didn't think I'd go till the 3rd at the earliest.

My development was quite disappointing however... I think I gained 1 point in faceoffs and lost a point in positioning over the year.
Ick.

Nice thing about getting Drafted by the oilers is that I should at least get decent ice time with them. ;)

No change across the attributes. Hopefully, September 1 is the cutoff, and my birthday (9/20) is the only reason I went undrafted.

The name of my player is Mike Bauce. I just finished my second year on the Kitchener Rangers. And I have no clue as to why you are still on a midget team. Were you drafted by an OHL team?
I was supossed to go to a NCAA team. So far that has not happened. :(
I have yet to play a year of meaningful hockey at any level. I hope the Islanders offer me a contract and let me go to the ECHL or AHL.
Hell at this point even the DEL looks good.

I had such high hopes :(
Going #66 overall is crushing

Alright...

Ranked #47 in the NHL Preliminary Rankings
Ranked #47 in the NHL Mid-Season Rankings
Ranked #45 in the NHL Final Rankings
Drafted #31 in the NHL Entry Draft by the Sharks

Strange that my average rating dropped from the beginning of the season but my rankings raised. Drafted by the sharks....could be worse, could be better.

Moved to my first Major Junior team from Europe....84 Points in 64 games in seattle, solid, but my improvement slowed down a little I've to admit.

At least I managed 8 points in 7 games for the austrian U-20 Team.

Will check out the CHL import draft later and list where everyone was drafted.

With respect to trades, I would like to see everyone stick with their drafted team for at least the first year, then if you really want a trade I will set one up for you.

Not sure why some people are still playing in their midget team, myself included. I think it depends on which league you start out in :dunno:

And mine went the opposite direction. Strange for a 119 point player. Oh well, drafted by the Thrashers, which means I could be playing at home (Chicago) shortly.

Traded to Swift Current for an Unsigned Centre on 10th January 2010

Harry Goodspeed
Ranked #65 in the NHL Preliminary Rankings
Ranked #73 in the NHL Mid-Season Rankings
Ranked #77 in the NHL Final Rankings
Drafted #73 in the NHL Entry Draft by the Maple Leafs

"My" ranking also dropped during the season but I was drafted higher than projected in the end anyway, and by the Leafs! Not bad! It feels good to be drafted by a classic team and it looks like I'll have some fellow TBL:ers as future teammates too.

Don't know when I was drafted in the CHL Import Draft though, but what I do know is that I'll play for the Regina Pats next season. Hopefully I can put up similar numbers I've done in the swedish U-20 league: averaging almost 2 points per game.

However I'm projected to be a future 4th-liner in the NHL, and the type of player I am (reminds of Jagr), may not be well suited for that kind of role. I think my low work rate (7) may slow down my development too.

But at the end of the day I'm more than happy to be drafted by the Leafs! Watch out NHL! Here comes Harry!

Wow. 2nd overall in the CHL draft. And looking at the Sharks, they had 1st pick of the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Does that mean i'm in the last placed team! Could mean i get my chance earlier! :-D

Congrats to McCormick on his 4th overall =D>. Were still waiting for our 1st overall NHL draft pick in C-A-S.

Atleast there is one other guy drafted by the Penguins. And he looks like he could be a good compliment paired with my guy, I'm the more offensive one and Wilson is the guy with more defensive responsibilities. The only thing is that we are both natural RDs.

Should be getting a full update done tonight, already got the screenshots ready to upload  Interestingly quite a few players who have been drafted to the NHL and stayed at their junior clubs have seen a dip in form, whilst those who have not been drafted and stayed at their junior club have seen an increase in form... I have moved a few players down to their AHL team as they were not getting enough games in the NHL, and I've sent some down to juniors.

If B. Stinson wants to leave his OHL team then if he posts in here in the next couple of hours I will trade him, he's on the same team as Jimmy Gehrig and hence is not playing many games as the coach prefers Gehrig in net
