FYI this year the NDTP is playing in the USHL.

Hey Lidas!

Is it possible to separate Finnish Junior Leagues, like Swedish Junior Leagues are? I mean in Swedish juniors there's "Superelit", "Elit", "Lower" and "Junior League", is it possible to do same in Finnish Juniors. However 15 Finnish Junior teams will be done thursday night, rest of them hopefully next week. Sorry 'bout unreadable text, I'm tired :P

Sure, if you could mail me the current setup, I'll implement it in the database. I only know how Swedish Jrs are organized.

Ok, can´t wait for it. And thanks for all the work you and all the other guys are putting in on keeping the game up-to-date.

Kudos to all of you!

Will the 09/10 roster update be in any way compatible or convertible to a MAC OS?

Clean databases, those which have not been played, are compatible for both Windows and Mac versions.

Any thoughts on retiring players that haven't officially retired but definitely aren't playing right now. For example, Glen Murray didn't play last season and I haven't heard about him being in anyone's plans for this season. Or Manny Fernandez? He's not in talks to sign anywhere and hasn't been to any training camps. Maybe retire them in this release of the DB and if they do make a comeback they can be "un-retired" in the next version?

I think it's too early to preemptively retire Fernandez. He did play last year. Murray I could understand though.

Kolzig and Brisebois just retired.

Just gimme a list!
I'd rather have them retired (and maybe un-retire them later) than having a lot of free-against up for grabs.

How about:
Robert Lang
Mats Sundin (story repeats itself. Will he play?)
Dean McAmmond
Mike Peca
Jassen Cullimore
Yannick Perreault
Darryl Sydor
Greg de Vries
Nathan Dempsey
Martin Lapointe
Manny Legace
Cujo
Brad May
Geoff Sanderson
Craig Johnson
Ian Moran
Jamie Heward
Richard Matvichuk
Jozef Stumpel
Brad Schlegel
Chris Rogles
Dany Bosquet
Jim Dowd
Robert Guillet
Rob Valicevic
Craig Darby
Jason MacDonald
Darren McCarty
Cory Cross
Frederic Chabot

I'm sure there are many many more, just used the shortlist and checked for 35years+ players without a contract. Need to rush to work now, so I cannot check them myself now. Maybe some of them have attended trainig camps.

I'd leave these guys in for now:

Mike Peca - I've read there's some interest in signing him by the start of the season.
Darryl Sydor - try out with Blues
Manny Legace - try out with Atlanta
Brad May - try out with Detroit

I think if a player is in camp with a team, it's good to leave them alone. I like the idea of looking at these 35+ year old players with no team. Chances are, most are going to retire. As for other players that haven't been in talks about playing anywhere, I'd rather see them retired than see them get signed in the game and unbalance teams.

Sydor just signed with the Blues, but I went through some players with high reputation and retired about 50 of them.
