Yes, but a player that has a 0 in the DB could have anything between 1 to 200 in the game.

In this case there might have been a Dutch 0 PA player that has got a high PA generated for him by the game.
The players discussed in the HF Boards thread are the same height/weight, handedness and positions in roughly the same year as the screenshot. That's too coincidental for it to be a random anomaly.

olympiques or at the end of the year?
in world championships, i haven't played to olympique games, cause managing national team is kind of boring.

The Coyotes' failure saga continues. Its now been 17 years since they made the playoffs, and last season was the best of the bunch, getting an astonishing 82 points and a 10 place finish in the West.

THat Coyotes stat is scary. In my game..currently 2021-2022 the longest futility streaks of not making the playoffs:

West: Detroit Red Wings 7 years
East: Pittsburgh Penguins 8 years

The longest streak of making the playoffs other than my own:

West: Columbus Blue Jackets 7 years
East: Montral Canadiens 8 years (although they are currently dead last in the NHL in 2021-2022, after having finished 1st in the East last season and losing to me in the SC Final)

Wow, in the 2006-2007 they are still quite equal.

Is this what the future holds for russian hockey now that they try to do KHL into a European version of NHL?

The Russian select team in this game is always horrible. They only play close game against the Q Teams. And lose them. I think they have been 0-6 for 15 consecutive years or something.

That score reminds me of whenever the Olympics come around and a team like Japan or Hungary play one of the big countries. I wish I'd saved some of those screenshots. One of them the shot total was something like 90-12!!!!

Parce qu'ils sont tous les Français faibles! :-D

Just kidding! I think it has to with population sizes and hockey culture. Farm kids out west don't have the broad palette of opportunities to occupy their time. Hockey is to them what football/basketball is to American inner city kids, a way out. But genetics would appear to have some effect, how often do you hear things like, "He a typical, big, western Canadian kid." compared to how often do you hear something similar about a Q kid. Q players that go high in drafts tend to be more skill based (or Goalies), while O & W tend to be bigger. Now that is a huge over simplification, but it is supposed to be.

This isn't about this at all. It's just the bad management and the bad structure of the system is about to kill the hockey in Qc. We just need a restructure but i don't think it's gonna happen, government is too stupid for that, so the result, bad developpement and bad player that doesn't get draft.

Yes and yes to philou. And the coaches that get hired want to play run and gun hockey all the time, so the only kids that develop anything other than puck skills are the goalies. Because they get 100 shots per game from the time they are 4. You rarely find third and fourth line grinders out of QMJHL, just like you rarely find 3rd and 4th line grinders out of the lower mainland (Vancouver) in BC, Calgary or Toronto. The reason for this stuff more goes to what Hypno is talking about, at least for Vancouver. The kids have more handed to them, and do not develop that work ethic the kids in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and rural Ontario do. You get a lot of skill and speed from those metropolitan areas, not alot of grit.

This is not to say you do not EVER find grit in those areas (lucic) but it is rare.

Plus, the coach are not paid here, the to this voluntary. I appreciate that they have the heart to do it but you know, if they were paid more good coaches could came. I think they started to paid the coach in the Midget AAA, this is ridiculous, i don't think this help too. But i'm just a simple citizen so i can't do anything except to see all of this collapse.

It's really good indeed! 25 shutouts in only 87 is really good, let's just hope that in your game he will not do as worst as in real life in the NHL.
