Heh. Well said B72. Save for one thing, that is 1/6 out of the top 6 for Les Habicraps. And in Boston how much of the top 6 are you missing...2/3?

So in Math terms Montreal is better off than Boston. Thus in the next meeting of the two teams: Boston 21 Montreal 0. Hmm...I guess nothing did change.

Okay, now I'm confused.

All I know is that Lucic is looking like he'll be back in the lineup on Thursday and Savard is skating again, so he looks to be back soon as well. Oh and the Habs are still smurfs.

Ha it was more of a shot at Hal Gill being so big and useless but yeah, they actually do have some bigger guys. Just the best players on that team are smurfs

wonder how the front-loading goes on that contract - hate to pay 3-4 million at age 38-39... unless someone with an accurate crystal ball says he gets 70 pts. then as well...

but yes, I think I jump on that too - not only a super-talented playmaker, but has more heart and passion than many of the current playing Bruins

I'm sure it would be front loaded. The B's aren' that stupid to pay an aging center 3.5 or 4 mill.

I've been hearing that the deal will be front-loaded so that most of the money will be paid out in the first 3-4 years of the deal. That would mean that if they wanted to buy him out when he's getting older, they shouldn't be on the hook for too much.

Former nhl-defenseman Jyrki Lumme was selected Canucks best defenseman ever. This wasn't somekind of lil poll, it was made by The Hockey News. Result surprised me, i couldn't think that Lumme is best defenseman of Canucks.

Not much to choose from over time.

Snepsts, Kearns, Halward,Kevin McArthy, Ohlund. That is about it. May be one or two others, but that is really slim pickins. About 2 years ago they did an all time team...maybe 5 years now. Dennis Kearns was on that team. Scary stuff.

Yes I know Paul Reinhart played in Vancouver...but not enough to warrant any kind of consideration. Jeff Brown was an idiot so cannot put his name in.

And few years ago Ed Jovanovski played his best games in Canucks (i think) and Sami Salo has been many years their top2 defenseman.

And about Jyrki Lumme: Who remembers (or who have heard) canadian rockbands Glenn Ford & The Piers's song called "What's Wrong With Lumme"? I don't have but i'm interested to listen that. They made that song when Lumme played in Maple Leafs, and i'm not sure, but i've heard that song isn't praising him

. But last years in Nhl Lumme played "invisible game", and maybe that's why they make mock song about him (i'm not sure that is it mock song, but i've heard).

I can't believe the Bruins blew it in the final minute... again. They won the shootout but I hate shootouts. Plus, it never should have gotten to that point. They had the game won and you can let a team score on you with 40-something seconds left.

It's not even the fact that they lost but how they lost. Blowing a 3 goal lead, Canes tying it at 4 on the PP after one Canes player was high-sticked by his teammate but the refs accidentally called White for it, scoring the go ahead goal with 30s left and giving up the tying goal with less than 2 seconds to go, then losing the SO. Rubbish but hilarious

Tuomo Ruutu played well last night, scoring 0+4 and then scored game-winning-goal in shoot-out. His +/- rating was +3.

It was nice to see that Canes won

That was really awful. I was watching TV and sometimes i go check the game and it was like 2-0 then it was something like 4-3 and then 5-5 and the shutout loss.
