I read that one of the guys fighting was Mike Valley, a pro skateboarder that was one a celebrity blogger for the Ducks. His daughter was the girl who the stick was being given to and he fought the guy that was trying to take it. The next day, all of the material he had done for the team was taken down and the team announced that they had "severed their relationship".

Wasn't expecting this the Habs have trade Guillaume Latendresse to the Wild for Benoit Pouliot. Latendresse wasn't in the plan of Jacques Martin and wasn't playing much in games since a couple of weeks. I don't know what to think about this trade.....Latendresse wasn't THAT good but wasn't bad, but Pouliot is a first rounder who didn't make is place with the Wild roster really fast or easily.
Now i've got to endure a couple of weeks of people who's gonna whine that they trade one of the last Quebecois in the team and that the MTl Canadiens should have more Qc in their team and blablabla this is disrespecfull.....yeah whatever.
You want a team that can win games or a team full of french-canadian who suck's?

Change of scenery needed and we shall see, maybe 1 starts doing some scoring.

I like it. It's basically trading four quarters for a dollar. Both players have underachieved based on expectations and their draft status. Lats can't skate, has cement hands and wasn't willing to mix it up. Not exactly what you're looking for in a "power forward".philou21 wrote:Hey CatchUp what's your thought about the Latendresse/Pouliot trade???
Pouliot is big and has proven he can put the puck in the net (in junior). Hopefully, the change of scenery fires him up and he can score 20 or so.
I would play him with Kostistsyn and Pacioretty.
