Thanks.
I don't think it's possible to change Stanley Cup winners.

Would it be possible to add a utility or tool within the PGE that sets the PAs of players in a certain range (say, 170-200) to a randomized range (like -10 or -15)?

The game has gotten really predictable for me, so I was looking to set just about everyone in the game to a random setting.

That actually sounds like a fun idea. Hopefully something like that would be possible.

I spoke to mne2 once before, and asked if he could set all players in the game to a certain CA/PA, and he said that it was possible and actually rather easy. The difficult bit would be making a mass change to a specific group I'd imagine.

Djungelurban managed to set all staff and players as 'invalid' by using some kind of multi-clicking tool.
Ask him how he did it and you could probably do the same with PA

My question is if i take out Kootenay ice and make them not in the game and then bring in Winnipeg Jets as a whole new team like not changing the old name or anything just bringing in a whole new roster and such...

So delete Kootenay Ice All together and bring in the Winnipegs not replacing just creating the team as a new team and such will that make the game crash or is the the only way u can take away a teams history?

I read as you want to make the Jets an WHL team? remove the Ice and put the Jets in the same league and division. Remember to change the Jets into an amateur team, as well

nhl eastside hockey manager 2004 editor?

Post by yahoo18 »

hi I'm newbie, I just start play nhl eastside hockey manager (I think mine is 2004), my questions is there any game editor to edit player? I just look in utilities game editor only for nhl eastside hockey manager 2005 and 2007, none for 2004.

Merged. Before posting a new thread for a question, please try to find a suitable existing thread first. Thanks. - Stinson

Unfortunately, no... no editor exists for EHM 2004.

Is there a way to change a players desicion to play for your international squad and not retre or refuse? Is it possible to do this via the saved-game or pre-game editor?

In extra_config file there is a section where are players who've decided to retire from national team.

OK, here's my situation...
I used the Pre-Game editor to do the following with the LIDAS 2.2 DB:
Edited Hamilton Steelhawks (already in DB) to be an NHL team in the Northeast Division.
"Reactivated" Winnipeg Jets from the DB to be an NHL team in the Northwest.
Dropped Phoenix and Atlanta, and reassigned all the players/staff/prospects to Hamilton and Winnipeg.
Reassigned a couple other teams to balance the divisions. Also edited the arena stats for the MTS Centre and Copps Coliseum (which I have assigned as each team's home rink).

The problem is....all the contracts are messed up. One or two players from each of Winnipeg and Hamilton have $1 million or so contracts, and everyone else goes down from there, with the bulk of the players showing the league minimum ($450,000). The TWO TEAMS COMBINED SALARIES ARE LESS THAN $37 MILLION...about $18 million each. The salaries show correct in the editor, they just don't show up correctly when I start the game. As far as I can tell, everything else is fine. I have tried advancing the game into September, and nothing changes.

I've tried going back in and re-inputting their salaries also, to no avail...anybody have any ideas?

Have I corrupted something in the DB somewhere, or am I just missing something?

I have never seen this before. What have you put the team's budget as?

Thanks for the quick response Manimal.

Budgets are set at $55 million for Winnipeg and $60 million for Hamilton.

Oh, and the only other thing I edited were the Draft Pick transfers and Cap penalties in the Extra Config file.

I have since started a new game by just renaming both teams and changing their arenas (and some divisional realignments), but now a get messages when loading that the team indexes cannot be located. It still lets me start the game, but I'm afraid this will cause troubles down the road and I don't want to get to far into a game and not be able to continue.

You can change that in the Pre-game editor, but you have to start a new game to make them work

Doing just that ;). It would be easier if there would be an option to change forgeiners rule in the league but I gues we can't do that.

This is going to be a bit longer post but please bear with me.
Problem:
Medveščak's roster is good. All the names for this season are here. So where is the problem? It lies in nationalities. When EBEL league starts it shows that I have something like 18 forgein players. Maximum dressed in EBEL according to EHM is 6. First I am not 100% sure about that rule but my research on net didn't gave me answers. Second, Medvešak gave almost all this players a second nationality. When we joined EBEL our scouts went to Canada and USA in search of players with Croatian roots. Those are guys whose parents or grandparents are from Croatia. Best example is John Sakic who if he wanted could play for Medveščak as a croat. That would be sweet ;).
Anyway, Hecimovic, Prpic, Prphic, Brumercik and even Powers (not a typicall cro surname) got their nationalities and they all play in current season.
So in RL Medveščak has all players that are listed in EHM but they all play. Playing EHM without them is impossible as I have to play players that have their attributes in red.
So, beeing a hardcore new fan I decided to download editor and start editing all players from Canada and USA with cro like surname to have their second nationality as croats. Got to letter C and found out that this is going to be one hell of a job that will take for ever.
I will countinue my work but I hope there is another way. So my questions are:
1. Is there a faster way to change this other then going from player to player?
2. Is there perhaps a way to change league rules and give EBEL league a chance to have more then 6 forgein players?

Thanks in advance guys

If you put those croats in a list we can input them in the next version of the database
