TBL racing season 4?

I'm trying to start a new game but I can't find the option to disable performance gaps.

I asked around in the BATracer forum and got this answer:

If you are the owner of the private game go to Games>Private Games>Edit Private Game then put the number in the box at the bottom for the amount of seconds per lap faster you want the car to be

So that seems to be the answer to our problem. So now it's just to start over.

I got a better answer, that explains it better, so now the new game is up:

Alternatively, you can select "private games" from the menu and enter the number "37824" into the box. The game password is "TBL4". Take care not to accidentally join a public game by mistake.

Oh, and here's the answer I got, so we know how to do it next time we start a season:

This is for equalizing the red bars, that represent the average performance of each car.

1 - Take the car with biggest red bar and the one with the smallest red bar. MEasure the size of the bars (a screenshot would help, so you can accurately measure the size of the bars in pixels).

2 - Use the commands shown by Ryan to add upgrades to the smallest red bar car until it is of the same size of the biggest one. Do not forget the values you used.

For instance, in F1 99 the MInardi is 1 second slower than the Ferrari. Considering that represents a 100 pixels wide blue (upgrade) bar, I know that for every 10 pixels one red bar is shorter than the Ferrari red bar, I need a 0.1 seconds upgrade.

3. Once you have equalized the smallest red bar with the biggest one, use the same proportion for the other cars, and you'll quickly have all cars with equal red bars.

Another exmaple. Considering that 150 pixels equal a 1 second upgrade, and I have a team with a red bar 45 pixels shorter than Ferrari's one, I know that in order to equal them I need to give to the second team a 0.30 seconds upgrade.

150 / 45 = 3.33
1 (second) / 0.33 = 0.3003 seconds.

Hope you understand that.

.. why did you already start a new game?

You don't know the exactly numbers you have to make the cars faster, do you? What numbers did you put in that box for seconds per lap faster?

I reckon we stick with the same teams. We'd only just gotten started with the first attempt so it would seem right to stay the same.

There must be teams created to be able change the seconds per lap faster, and I will check the numbers up now. And I wanted to have the teams in our game up, so it's easier to change while I do the maths.

I will start the game at 10.30-11 pm, Swedish time.

That's 9.30-10 pm for UK and 11.30-12 pm for eastern Europe, so get all your setups and pratice runs done.

I can't equal the cars until after the game is underway, so I will do that as soon I can.

Marek Timura started the season well, broke the car in just a 2nd testing lap. Way to go!

I crashed during practice as well, though I managed to do two laps so I got some setup results. But in another series where you just have 3 warmup laps I managed to crash in the first so all of my other were gone.

I hope not, I will write in the numbers and see what happens with the red bars and I won't be happy with it until the red bars are equal.

But the maths that I got on BATracer forums wasn't funny to do, I how many pixels every red bar was. Here's the difference in how many pixels every red bar for every car is:

MG ZS 164
Astra Coupé 209
Honda Civic 73
Peugeot 406 27
Proton 118

And now I'm trying to convert that into seconds.

Well, they're the best team so it's them I going to equal the other teams to. But I can always make them worse.

Let me think about it for a while, but don't think I will make your teams better than mine.

Nah, just kidding around, I will try to get every team equal, but then if the difference is like 1 pixel it shouldn't matter.
