Looking at them, It's hard to find a viable case against that!

I'd love to see the Blackhawks win it but right now it's hard to bet against Detroit.

Overtime is such a harsh time. 1 Little mistake from Brian Campbell leads to a game-winning-goal. Great game though.

Samuelsson had to make up for that AWFUL turnover that lead to Toews' goal. Overtime is a coin toss. You can outplay a team right off their skates, but one little defensive lapse and you lose. At this level, OT can go either way any second.

It's going to be tough for the Hawks to come back now...though I thought Towes really bounced back last night after playing an AWFUL game one.

The Wings have clearly identified Kane and are sending Lidstrom at him. Maybe that will open up Toews/Sharp a bit more and they can pick up the slack.

The Hawks played well in the first and third periods but I didn't think much of them in the second. I felt the Wings deserved the win. I do really hope Chicago turns things around but I can't see this happening now.

It's getting more and more likely to be a repeat final of last year.

Malkins 3rd goal last night was immense. 7-4 was a great game though!

Quite right! I remember when the lock-out ended and everyone said it was the end of the Wings success. And when it didn't even cause a hiccup, people hated the Wings three times as much!

I think I said it here before that I used to rail against Ken Holland and his trades that sacrificed 1st & 2nd round draft picks for older players. But I guess that is why he is managing a NHL franchise and making the big bucks and I'm not. Mr. Ilitch has put (and kept) together quite possibly the greatest front office in sports and and then got out of the way and let them do the jobs he hired them to do. He was recently voted the best owner in professional sports by Forbes (I think).

And then put back in for the 3rd? When they came out for the last frame and Conks & Huet were in net, it was like What the Dickens! I guess Babcock pulled Ozzy to protect him from getting run at. Don't know why Huet was put back in.
