So I'm curious have any of you checked out the save game Calv put up? I went and checked out Bruins and my PA. From the looks of it he could have cracked the NHL and done fairly well (2nd or 3rd line) if handled correctly. It looks as if I'm probably at the ceiling unless Florida does something to get players in around their 2 centers

Yeah, I'm guessing I probably would've been a 3rd liner, maybe with a little time on the second PP unit. Part of my problem might've been the way I was handled but I'm thinking part of it might have been how I laid out my attributes at creation. I probably should've put a little more into hitting and checking if I was going to have the agression and bravery attributes I had. My guy got into far too many fights and didn't come out on top. He ended up getting a role that kind of went with that. Sure, he did well in his last couple years of junior but who knows how he would've done if he had been put together properly? Also, I kind of put him behind the 8-ball by starting him in junior too young. That wasn't a wise move either.

If you look we did well in Junior atleast I remember I did, and I thought you did too. I started out at 70 points as a 14 year old. My second year was at 96 points. As far as that goes I don't think it stunted your growth. I know in may 2008 in the save game we were on the top line. The coaches they had for forwards are another thing though.

Yeah, we did okay as 14 and 15 year olds but I wonder if we would've been better served in a lower league. Just because we're putting up points, doesn't mean we're doing what we should. I don't know. I haven't really played much with the youngsters. I'm mostly an NHL guy. Anyhow, I totally agree about the coaching at Lewiston. WOW! They stink!

Leiweke has done pretty well. He had 74 pts in 82 games and was almost a ppg in the playoffs, made it to the stanley cup finals... he still has never had a season with a rating above 7. That's kind of funny to me. He's a first line winger with ppg production that has a +20ish most seasons and he can't crack a 7 rating. Most of his attributes are green... crazy

I've done a slow regression. Agility/Checking/Stickhandling/Wristshot all went down...If ym guy is playing on the second line like he was he's doing pretty terrible, if he's doing this on the third/fourth line I'm very happy for him. 20 points 160pims 10 fights. Sounds like an enforcer to me.

Calv, that was a nice couple of jokes you put in the save game with the Super Mario Mike Bossy knockoffs.

yep I drafted them. Bruins Sythus and I are the second line. Let's just say it took a lot to wheasel the picks for those 2. So how many are there to find?

Was wondering when someone would notice them, they've been up on quite a few of the stats shots I've uploaded :-D
Don't bother with Wayne he's rubbish and Mario has only just started to perform in my saved game in 2017/2018

Really, Mario isn't that great. So far Mario has been spectacular in junior for me. He is centering the number one line in Lewiston and is putting up nice points especially for a 16 yr old. Bossy on the other hand has been injured most of his first season so far. Hopefully I come out of this with atleast 2 of 4 memorial cups. On paper i have the best team in the CHL. I have the number 1 and 2 centers and right wings in the Q and the number 4 lw in my top 6. I have 2 top 10 dmen. My goaltending is adequate for this level but will probably not go on to do much.

He's good in the juniors but not in the NHL, Bossi is the best player of the 'greats'

Hey Calv,

What pairing am I (Ric Hypnotist) on and who am I partnered with? The last season and a half, I seem to have really turned the corner and have become a pretty solid defenseman with offensive upside.

Also just noticed that I have never lost a fight in the NHL!!! :fight: and I am 10 for 11 total :guns: . I should fight more :-D

Argh, my guy has flopped. Ive only played a small amount of games this year in the AHL, even though i've had a hatful of goals and points in the AHL, 404 points in 450 games. But only a handful of goals in the NHL, 4 goals and 2 assists in 59 games.

Guess im destined to stay in the AHL, of move down by the looks of this year.

I think the problem is that the players are now veterans so they're losing their places to the younger players as they cant only ice a certain number of vets.
