You can cheat a little and use "Disable human sackings" until your rep is up againTownsy17 wrote:Also, not sure if this is possible, but can you edit your reputation with your team in a more favourable manner? I'm doing a Vegas GM during which, in my first year, I tanked and finished last. During the offseason I drastically improved, though made some trades my fanbase/board weren't happy with as well. Had a great start to year two aside from a 7-game losing streak (6 in OT) and I'm in first. However, my board was still unhappy enough with me to the point where I got fired if I lost my next game. I didn't want to lose all the work I had done, so I'd save and reset to make sure I won the game. Now I'm in December, on a 13-game win streak, first in the league, and my board is 'pleased with me' - but, again, after one loss I'm fired the next day due to a 'string of bad results'. Is there a workaround to this, or am I just doomed?

Go to the Staff screen and click on the Filter button. Then select Validity: Has Errors. See this screenshot: https://flic.kr/p/24yyr1bManimal wrote:I can't find where I can see what the roster errors are. It was in the "Data" section of a previous version
I had to remove the previous screen as it wouldn't work with the new real-time roster updating. I'll add it back eventually - it'll just need some work.
See the following links:Townsy17 wrote:It's been a while since I've been on here, so I apologize if it has been addressed in another post, but I was curious to know whether or not the ability to add additional international sub-leagues (i.e. World Championships Div. 4, Div. 5, etc.) was possible? I've tinkered with countries reputations and relative strengths and it would be neat to see a non-traditional hockey country from say South America or Africa make their way up the ladder eventually! However, when I last asked, international league structures such as that weren't able to be added upon.
Also, is it possible to create fully-functioning leagues/tournaments in general? I'd like to create different domestic and international competitions for, again, non-traditional hockey countries, but wasn't sure if it was doable/viable (again, apologies if this has been addressed previously, just wanted to be sure). And if so, any tips for doing so, as I'm relatively new to this haha.
Any response would be greatly appreciated!

Is this not the place to be when adding cities?

You're not able to even add the "dot" there. "Comma" you're able to add it but ones you move out from the (longitude/latitude) box it resets it to zero.

Re: EHM 1 Database & Saved Game Editor
Two quick things.
Where can I find where trade deadline dates are set for a league?
Not sure if this is a bug or not but I noticed a lot of players won't have their year of birth set, I have to manually hit enter to get it to register. I don't think this is an issue in-game but maybe that is something that can be enforced on save?
Example:

Re: EHM 1 Database & Saved Game Editor
Year of Birth serves no purpose for older players, but for some reasons I noticed that if I let it blank on very young players, then they get their DoB screwed up.
Trade deadline can be moved in the competition tab, in the transfer rules tab

I thought it was automatically set on saving. It should also update when setting DOB (or perhaps I imagined it). I will double-check.xECK29x wrote:Not sure if this is a bug or not but I noticed a lot of players won't have their year of birth set, I have to manually hit enter to get it to register. Re: EHM 1 Database & Saved Game Editor
We are getting an awful lot of posts in this thread which do not belong here. This is a thread about the Editor and not a thread about editing databases. I have split out some of the more recent posts into the correct place.
As a more general note, I'm finding more and more posts being posted in completely the wrong place. I will be adding a Rules page later this year and will be taking a more stringent approach with this (I am spending too much time splitting and moving posts into the correct places for people). Sorry if this sounds like a rant!

What exactly is the 'Division Level' under 'Classification' in the Competitions>Club Competitions tab?

The editor doesnt seem to work properly for me. It'll open the program (kinda) but the UI doesnt show up, making it unusable. I've tried restarting my PC and reinstalling, but neither worked

What screen resolution are you running? It looks like it might be borderline too small for the Editor.
Try right-clicking on the TBL icon on your taskbar and click on "Maximise".

Re: EHM 1 Database & Saved Game Editor
It allows you to set a hierarchy of leagues. So the top division level is for the highest league(s) in that nation, the second level for the second highest league(s), etc.Javs wrote:What exactly is the 'Division Level' under 'Classification' in the Competitions>Club Competitions tab?

How would this work in Canada? Would the Ligue du Nord America be the highest? Followed by other senior pro then college then juniors? Or is it for linked competitions only?archibalduk wrote:It allows you to set a hierarchy of leagues. I am not Canadian so I am unfamiliar with the depth of the domestic leagues but if you consider the LHAH the highest level of domestic play then yes. You can view this by looking at Canada's Nation Overview page.Javs wrote:How would this work in Canada? Would the Ligue du Nord America be the highest? Archi,
Is there anyway to batch update or import historical results for a competition? I'm working on all the World Championship divisions and it's a pain.

Re: EHM 1 Database & Saved Game Editor
Hey guys.
Is it possible to change the status of a player contract - means: activating/deactivating a NTC?
Can fictional player names in the league/franchise history be found in the editor and changed to the real name player they are connected to?

I'm guessing this is based on whatever the 'classification' of the league? Like 1->20 for Domestic Junior, 1->20 for National, etc.??archibalduk wrote:It allows you to set a hierarchy of leagues. Also, it seems like I cannot delete 'Ruling Bodies' or 'Transfer Rules' items? Is this a bug?

Re: EHM 1 Database & Saved Game Editor
No NTCs cannot be added or edited via the database for now. There are not any fake names in the TBL Rosters. I think there is a bug with record holders' names which are being scrambled/reversed in game - I think I've mentioned it to Riz.Saytham1980 wrote:Hey guys.

The competition history winners/runners up/etc? It has been added to the new version which I'll release relatively soon.xECK29x wrote:Archi,

I'm not sure regarding the Classification. Try exporting a list of leagues via the Export Spreadsheet button and see how it is setup.Javs wrote:I'm guessing this is based on whatever the 'classification' of the league? I have not yet enabled deletion of all data, such as Ruling Bodies and Transfer Rules.

So I followed this instruction only to figure out I accidently doubled the leagues in my game, as I assume mode 'a' is add? Is there a mode to delete? d didn't seem to work...Use the Cities template spreadsheet and put "a" in the Mode column.

Under transfer rules > USHL > Extra Rules there is a setting for the USNTDP "Club limited to using natural domestic players only - 102192". I am just wondering how anyone got the team number?

I think their is a bug with the editor or possibly with EHM, however when I set 'Count Players from Home Nation as domestic for Foreign based clubs' to false and 'fixture rule min domestic players for Foreign teams' to any number it includes Canadian players as Domestic players without saying they will count under league rules in game.
BUT when I set 'Count Players from Home Nation as domestic for Foreign based clubs' to true then it will note that 'Canadian players' count as domestic under league rules in-game.
ALSO, it seems the game doesn't recognize if you set two 'Club limited to using natural domestic players only' teams.
