Wow. I hope you did not break your ankle jumping off.
Cup contenders all have issues this year. Save one team...the Penguins. Every other challenger: Washington, Philadelphia, New Jersey, San Jose, Chicago, Detoilet, Vancouver have at least one issue. Hard to say right now, but I would not put money on anyone but the Pens at this point.

It's hard to look beyond Washington. Sure they may be a bit short on Defensive Talent, but they just outscore you, meaning they don't need defense... I think the Devils are a good team too. Chicago have an incredible team. Question marks over their goaltending. Huet has had bad games, but still has really good individual numbers for the season.
Washington - Chicago finals IMO.

I'd say Calgary or Vancouver in western, and Pens or New Jersey in eastern.
I hope Colorado will make long playoff run but they have still pretty young team - similar to Chicago couple years ago. And now they traded Wolski away, Hejduk is in trouble with knee, so Stastny, Duchene and Liles won't do it alone

Yah I don't know. The break really hurt the sens. They lost to the leafs because half there team had the flu(remeber that game a couple of years ago). The only positive was Leclaire was very good.philou21 wrote:What happen with the Sens?? The Olympic break wasn't good for them I think.
I already hear Batdad saying...Mehh, the Sens are the Sens.

Has anybody seen Cooke's blindside headshot on Savard yet ? I don't know what's more disgusting, the hit, the lack of even a minor penalty or the Bruins response to it. Savard deserves better teammates than that bunch of gutless pansies. I've never been so embarrassed to be a Bruins fan before. I don't care how many games Cooke gets, he's a useless piece of garbage anyway, the league does the Penguins a favor by suspending him. I want the Garden ice covered in Penguins blood on the 18th. I'm sick of those pathetic losers. Show some passion and emotion ffs you bunch of overpaid useless stiffs. Too bad Milan is hibernating from October till April. Call up some goons from Providence for all I care.

I agree the hit was disgusting. There go the bruins chances though. He was there best offensive player, without him the bruins just rely on defence.Danny wrote:Has anybody seen Cooke's blindside headshot on Savard yet ? Best thing is one of the officials said they didn't call it because Cooke was just finishing his check.
Just watching Leafs vs Flyers, Orr takes a double minor for crosschecking and punching Carcillo, puts the Leafs down two men, Orr comes out of the box, is on a 2 on 1 shorthanded breakaway, runs into the goalie and gets another 2 for goalie interference

You didn't mention that Orr broke Lucic's nose.Danny wrote:Just watching Leafs vs Flyers, Orr takes a double minor for crosschecking and punching Carcillo, puts the Leafs down two men, Orr comes out of the box, is on a 2 on 1 shorthanded breakaway, runs into the goalie and gets another 2 for goalie interference

I've seen the hit on Youtube, but the camera is too far so I can't see that much. This far it look weird, though Savard when he shot move his head a little bit so Cooke, if he was already begin is course, cannot move and hit him. But because it's Cooke, I prefer too think it's a headshot firstable. Let's just see if he will be suspended.
