i didnt try it yet but what about setting for player trade rights to one club and set for him this club as least favourite? Could it help, what do you think?

Could help, but eventually you will lose them, if they're good enough for the NHL. You can't edit clauses with the editor, they're automatic.

another questions
1. i want to change budget but when i set it to bigger amount nothing changes what should i do?
2. i cant do anything in contract with possibility of coaching nation i cant click on contract with nation
please help

Those two, at the moment atleast, are somewhat unfinished articles in the editor. I've heard of people (claiming of) being able to edit budgets, but most of the time it just doesn't work for what ever reason. Same thing with national team staff. The option is there, but you can't use it. Maybe in a later version of the editor at some point?

I have a problem with database in EHM 2007. When i am saving my data at eastside uk pre-game editor 1.5. , i have a error, like this ->error re-indexing forenames at index 0<- and then is following another error ->data base is NOT been saved<-! I can't save changed data in editor!! please help.

Sadly stickbraker it is likely your database is corrupt. I would strongly suggest that you revert back to either a working backup or to the original 3.0.4 database. if you don't have an original database you can re-apply the 3.0.4 patch which will re-install the database too.

corrupted database? that's bad.
interesting thing - i am reinstaling the game, but the error is still there, still i can't save data. When I very first time installed game, all worked fine, i could save data. Thats strange..Now i can't.

But if I use pre-game editor version 1.4 or older, maybe all will work?

Don't you have a friend with faster connection who could download it and burn it on a cd for you?

Or start the download before going to bed, so that you get it done once you wake up

(i did that a lot when i had slow connection... It always made happy to start the day by seeing my slow machine had been able to finally download something

)

Besides the game itself is completely unplayable without the latest patch. All thanks to one major bug: The Attribute Bug!

HI Guys ,.. I need a little help if possible.

I have used th editor quite a bit and tweaked my database to get right players on right teams to suit my game. the edited database runs fine.
Problem is that I want to edit this data base again,.. but as I load it up I get the following error,.

"Access violationat address 00494AC4 in module "EHM_EDit_2007.exe" Read of address 93DED154"

Can anyone tell me whats up and how to fix it ??

Being a Minnesota Wild Fan i want to relive the expansion team and delete the team history and redo a expansion draft all over again. The only problem is i checked the search thing and searched for delete teams history so that it started off fresh but theres nothing on the forum about it well in the search wise and i was wondering if someone knew how to delete all of the info so like it was a brand new team from the start...

If you find a team that is invalid or is in a non-playable league, there should be a debut team that has just began. If you make it so that the team with no history swaps places with the original Minnesota and change the teams details. You should, in theory, have a brand new Minnesota, no history. Just might take a bit of time to change the staff over, etc.

Is there a way that we can change the amount of years a player has been pro. For example. Getzlaf has been in the league 1 season before the game. And on his information, it says 1 Season accrued. Is there a way i can make that 1 Season into 0, so that he is a rookie again. I've tried deleting his history but to no avail. I'm sure i've seen a way to do it... Any1 have any ideas?

Or is there a way that i can make the players current contract a 2 way contract?

You can also create new Minnesota Wild and replace older Wild with that.

When editing players, in editor is "Player Info" and in info is NHL Seasons & NHL Games. Just change those numbers to zero, so he is rookie again.

You have to change player Current Reputation under 100. (I'm not remember.. under 110 might work too.)

I don't know if im being stupid... But I can't find the place you are talking about? Which Editor are you using?

EDIT: Scratch that. I realised i was using the 1.3 version of the database. How out of date am i.

Yup. Clauses are automatic. Hence you need to edit player rep to get him under a two-way clause, as Laz said.
