Wait so can you add players to the database for EHM:EA?

I've tried but I guess I've looked in the wrong places

You can add players to an EHM 2007 DB using the Editor or the Updater and then use the Import button in EHM to convert it into EHM 1 format (which can then be further edited using the EHM 1 Editor if you wish).

The next version of the EHM 1 Editor should have the ability to create new players and staff.

Hi EHM editor is very good and I like it. I tried, for example, removed from the league Slovakia Skalica (I put the team in the second league) and replaced him team of HC Slovan Bratislava U23 (editor as HC Slovan Harvard Bratislava). It worked well and without problems. I would like to ask when the next version of the editor?

To make it simple : THANKS A LOT for the EHM 1 editor =D>

Even if we can't edit everything for the moment, I found important to give a feedback as well
I look forward to see another version where we can modify even more datas !

Especially to edit league rules !
Do you know if it will be possible to edit Champions Hockey League rules / participants for example ? (and in european leagues)

Congrats again ! 8-)

Hi, first of all, thanks for this awesome tool developed for this awesome game.

I was doing some editing to the lower leagues of Finland to add a little bit of extra interest to my game. So after saving the database and starting a new game with it all works great except when I look at the NHL, all draft picks have been reset and don't change even if I manually input them into the extra config file. All picks are put in exactly as the instructions say. Could this be due to my work with the editor? Not that some AI controlled NHL-clubs would be complaining for getting all their picks back.

Lastly, you guys thinking of adding moving picks as a feature of the editor in the future. (Might have been discussed here, but I missed it.) Thanks!

It's hard to say and will depend entirely on what you edited. What exactly did you edit?

Loving the editor. You guys do some great work here. This and EHM assistant are what finally brought me over from EHM 2007 (loved the editors and scout). I wish I had more free time so I could help with rosters or utilities or something.

Thanks again!

Sorry if this was already posted but is it possible to edit draft picks or player rights? If not through the editor can someone reference a post showing how to do that manually?

Figured out draft picks, but still cannot find player rights (for players playing in CHL or College)

I reported (PM) the following to Archi and he'll fix it:
Changes for "Expansion Capacity" in the DB editor affects the "Total capacity" in the game and vice versa.

I am trying to change the start to 2016, but the game doesn't seem to recognize it. Has anyone figured this out yet?

2015 is the latest allowed start year. 2016 will most probably be included in the next patch.

What exactly is 'Club Valuation'? Is this how high the club values the player??

I'm not 100% certain, but I wonder if it relates to the "hot prospect", "back up", "core", etc player statuses.

Exactly, what role the player has with the club, it also has some impact on trade availability (and is how players are put on the trade block or marked as available)

First time poster, long time player.

Thank you for putting the time and effort into this. I'm running into an issue which I don't think is specific to your tool. When I try to run it I get an error about qt5core.dll missing. Running Windows 10, tried re installing C++, doing a system file checker. No luck.

Anyone experience this?

Did you extract the dll files that came with the Editor zip file into the same place as the Editor exe file? Qt5core.dll was included within the zip file IIRC.

Is there any way to work around the Pavel Datsyuk contract with this editor. I used the 2007 editor, extra config, to transfer him to SKA St.Pete, but unfortunately, in game, on July 1st, they couldn't take the contract, cause they couldn't afford the transfer fee. So I edited, using this Editor, Datsyuk to SKA, and while it moved him to SKA, it is still showing him in green on my depth chart (like it does with player's rights), and still charging the full 7.5 contract and cap hit to me. Any help with this, and also, possible help with a workaround in the 2007 extra config, to avoid transfer fee issue.

Headed to bed, so not a lot of time, and I'm not sure how updated this is or what you're asking, but here's some info on it:

Thanks for the reply. One last question, is there a way to transfer draft picks to a new club?
