When recording my 21-40 set for season 5, i've seen that i totally missed to indicate my team PIM for the first 20 games set. So i put my totals after 40 games, not the 21-40 segment (as i can't now it, having not recorded the 1-20).
No benefit out of this, as there's no bonus points after 40 games. It just keeps things updated for the further records.
It prevents me from getting bonus points in the 1-20 segment for team PIM, but that's my fault, so nothing wrong with that.

Calv being the stat master you are you probably know the answer to this although its not meant directly for you so anyone who knows is welcome to answer. Is there any correlation between leading after A and B bonus points and winning the season? I ask because based on this years bonus points for A and B rookier will squeak out a victory meaning its a different winner each time for this challenge. I ask because in the past it appears that it floated between a few different people for a time and then all of a sudden there was a new group on top. While just looking at the top here its anybody's game.

Right. So my mistake has no incidence at all regarding points. Good news, although it doesn't change anything: i'm clearly not about winning a single season

Gotta hurry up now... The deadlines are getting closer and closer, while i played less and less lately...

However, i have fun in season 5, seeing team USA U20 being relegated from WJC to WJ-D1 with a 'brilliant' 0-6-0 overall record

Okay, so the 2010 playoffs ended, with me winning another cup. Shocking.
Anyway, will be some changes in Chi town as Horcoff and Gleason will be leaving as UFA's.
My Stanley Cup final roster vs Philly is a preview of things to come in some ways.
Heatley-Richards-Hossa
Toews-Horcoff- Marcel Hossa
Arkhipov-Bolland-Dustin Brown
Boogieman-empty slot-Blunden
Barker-Seabrook
Gleason-Jason Smith
Beauchemin-Ryan Wilson
Jeff Schultz
Budaj
Price
Budaj was a god in the playoffs. An absolute god. As you can see Here
THis should put to rest all this garbage about not winning the cup without an elite goalie. Of course, now Budaj and Emery are included among the list of elite goalies, with Lalime. All of whom have one at least one Stanley Cup for me in this challenge.
A 1.39 GAA with .944 save percentage? Brutal I tells ya. 5 Shutouts in the playoffs..christ he only had 3 all season! Wow! Talk about stepping up.
Anyway, big changes a coming...my roster will look something like this next season
Heatley-Richards-Marian Hossa
????---Toews-----Dustin Brown
McArdle-Bolland-Blunden
Boogie-Gaustad (trade from Buffalo for his rights some time ago, Buffalo let him go to Europe, I have him dirt cheap)???
Barker-Seabrook
Beauchemin-R Wilson
Schultz--Jason Smith
???
Budaj
???
Hmm...I guess not that many changes. I thought it was going to be bigger than that. McArdle has inside track on Homegrown, but it could also be Skille, or Istomin, or someone else who goes nutso at camp.
I can now deal Carey Price, since Budaj is a dirt cheap god. With $8 mill off the books to Horcoff and Gleason, I should be able to have some fun. Although Seabrook is going to cost me $3 mill now.
It likely won't be UFA's filling those slots at all. I am looking at dealing some of my older prospects to make room for guys like Tavares, and a few other draft picks I have to sign.
Norfolk had a brilliant reg season, but died in the 1st round of the playoffs. I am not impressed with that. So changes down there are a coming.

Season 5...FLU BUG..or some kind of virus hits the team
Out right now: Barker (1st guy), Heatley, Price, Beauchemin, and my call up for price Tyson Sexsmith. A guy on Norfolk has it too. Ugly. Won my first game without Barker, lost Heater and Price and shutout Nashville. Now St Louis without all 5 of the others.
The bad news--Gonna have to deal Kosechkin, because had to call him up when Sexy went down, and would lose him on waivers. Ouch.

Ok so 20 games in. I have tried something a little new. A little more defensive tactic.
And guess what..it works!
6 shutouts in first 20 games-Budaj 5 (3 in a row) and Price 1. I have won games 5-0,6-0 and 8-0. Scary.
In 20 games, I have only given up 33 freaking goals
My Penalty killing has been downright nutso. Power play, not so much. (shocking)
The d-tactic though has taken away a bit from my scoring prowess in Hossa and Heatley. But that may also be moving Horcoff, and the freaking virus that Heater had. Richards was also injured for a bit.
Lines
Heatley-Richards-Hossa
Vasicek (UFA signing)-Toews-Blunden
Grabovksy-Bolland-Brown
Boogieman-Gaustad-McArdle
Skille
Barker-Seabrook
Beauchemin-Wilson
Schultz-Hale (UFA signing)
Vlasic
Budaj
Price
Norfolk is kicking arse. I dealt Kosechkin straight up for Irving, so my goalies down there are Sexy and Irving now. Tavares is lighting it up. I am moving a couple of forwards because Kyle Turris needs more ice time to develop. This may cost me, but such is life. Gotta develop the prospects, and 3rd/4th line not helping.
I have way too many Centres.
