I know a couple guys in the 2010 and 2011 drafts, there are no stars in the 2011 draft but some very good players and lots of average players. I think a large amount will play in the NHL but none of them will dominate.

right now the 2011 draft looks average at best.. but there is still time and i might only do 2012.13,14,15 and 16 draft years... i'm not sure depends on how much time i get. I started a new job about 3 weeks ago and i'm very busy.

Funny that the pay pal subject came up, as I was planning to mention it when I release. I have spent more than 2000 hours on the DB (probably closer to 2500), and before this DB, I was also working on the TBL DB, and various facepacks too. Not sure how many hours it adds up to.

So - if you feel like you want to donate for my work - maybe one of those hours, Id be more than happy. I'll post my info when I release.

As for the drafts, I have created 60 top prospects for 2010 (-7 - -9 potential), and 15 (-8 and -9) for 2011, and there will be A LOT more prospects after the weekend.

The only thing I have left before I release is the 2010 and 2011 drafts. I know I said earlier that I'd wait with the drafts until the 2.1 release, but after testing the DB a couple of times, I found the 2010 and (especially) the 2011 draft so dull, with hardly any prospects at all. I know that many users find the draft to be one of the most exciting parts of the game (at least I do so), and therefore I have decided to do some work on the drafts before I release 2.0.

I'm going to work with creating players over the weekend (I'm know that I'm not gonna be able to create ALL of the potential draftees I want to), and if I'm satisfied with it when I go to bed Sunday night, I'll release.
Sounds great, man. I wanted for it to be held off until 2.1 like everyone else, but if you say the drafts are that dull, I believe you. I'm like you, I find the drafts and how the team actually progresses to be the most entertaining part. I just love picking up draft picks and seeing how the youngsters progress as the years pass by. Sunday night or even the next few days after that sound fantastic. :D

Adam Larsson is heading for a great future. Atleast what i think.. He will be drafted 2011 and might go as number 1

He is one of the 15 players I have top-ranked for 2011.
(I have 2 players with -9 potential and 13 with -8). Now I'm creating -14 and -13 players.

After watching Greg Jambrosich for the Sudbury Wolves play, (and before he was drafted to the OHL I might add) I think he'll be an NHL player. He was the quickest player on the ice and the nicest skater. He may be thin, but when he fills out, Greg will dominate. With his speed and his playmaking ability, it's only a matter of time before the points start to roll for him.

He was also going to be in the first round of the draft, as he was getting called by team that wanted to take him early, but he was going the collegiate route at that time and was considered a gamble.
