Hey guys. Thanks to all of you getting under way with the Editor so quickly. I've done my best below to answer your questions.
Just to let you know that I'm without internet access from 21 - 27 December but I can answer any further questions before and after that period.

If I try the x64 file, it says I need to uninstall my office version, which I think I can't as it was installed when I got the computer and there is no disc (I think).
Using the non x64 file I can't install the SP1, but I can launch the history editor, but I get this message, when I click on any league/team/player:
If I choose OK, nothing happens when I click on anything, If I choose cancel then this shows up again whenever I try to click on something. Is it because SP1 isn't installed?
EDIT: I managed to get SP1 installed, but the message remains though.
I suggest uninstalling the x64 Runtime/SP1 and using the other version (i.e. the 32 bit version). I have 64 bit Windows 7 but still use the 32 bit version of Office. If you still have trouble with the 32 bit Runtime + SP1 then try adding
this hotfix as well.
AP21 wrote:How do I get the History Editor to run on my 64-bit system?
Visit the links I provided in my post (i.e. the Runtime and SP1) and download the 32-bit versions of them. Don't use the x64 / 64-bit version. I have Windows 7 64-bit and it works fine with 32-bit Office.

Enter new text in the box and press Enter. There's no reason why it won't accept it - unless the Editor is located in C:/Program Files/ (in which case, put it somewhere else).

You just enter the start year. E.g. for 2006/07 you just enter 2006. The 2006/07 playoffs are recorded as 2006 also.

Question about CSVs, as I have taken on the entire OHL, did you want me to send you a CSV per team, or just wait until I've finished the whole league?
Thank you.

If anybody has any constructive criticism or feedback, I'd gladly take it on board.
I suggest either sending one CSV per league or maybe one CSV per four or five teams - whichever you would prefer.

I knew Schiefle was under contract with the Jets but I didn't realize that Ivan Telegin was. So I do have stats for them. What I will do is PM those that have done the teams that OHL players are under contract with in the NHL and see if they have histories for them.
I looked at the PreEditor and they were listed in the 'Staff' section for the Colts and that's what I based my list off of, not thinking to check the players contract section.
I also take it that this would be where we use the 'loan' option as well when entering stats? Or does the loan option really effect anything?
Just tick the Loan box if the player was on loan at that team where he achieved those stats. It doesn't mean anything other than indicating he was on loan to that particular team when he achieved those stats.
Just add stats for the players listed for that team in the Editor. If they are not listed then don't worry about them. If you want and, if you can find them in the Free Agent list, then feel free to add them. But if they are listed under another team then don't add them because somebody else will pick them up. We have to be cautious because we don't want two people to add data for the same player because it'll mean having to go back through the data and removing the duplicates.

(Sorry if this was answered previously).
The GAA and Sv% are automatically calculated when you start a new game. The Editor lists every stat category that exists in the database. If it's not there then you don't need to worry about it.
