Well all my Team names are already set, as seen in my tumblr post, so I suggest taking a look at them and seeing what you can do. If you want to lay down some suggestions for Canadian Juniors you can, I can throw the Knights in there somewhere

Ill post the ECHL and U/CHL teams I have too if you wanna take a crack at some of their logos since I didnt do them in NHL 13. (Parent teams in brackets, * donates matching design scheme IE same logo/colours, & means similar design)

Do you wanna use it for any of the ECHL teams? I can change the letter if you want, if it "fits" a team!? Or else you can use it to whatever team you like? But the logo isn't done yet. And you can name any color you want on it, if you want.

Just keep in mind im going by the PreGame Editor for values, im not sure of the hex code. Im pretty sure it goes Text, Plate, Outline tho, so theres that

They do generally. Ive had CHL teams (in my database all 27 C level teams are affiliates) sign enough players to feild their rostor, while some sit with a single goalie, and not a single skater, for 3 years untill papa club decides they've had enough of their 7th round bust.
Its the same in the AHL. Some teams dont sign any players because they have 2 parents, thus have like 30 players on the rostor at a time, but one team didnt sign anyone, even tho the parent club literally only had 25 players in the system

I havnt set any budgets yet, but my theory is that Dependant teams dont work right, and will never sign a player. Im changing all of the affiliates now, and ill re-test, and see if it does anything

Here you have the Salem Shields logo. I didn't use the "Blue 2" as it wouldn't have looked good. So I used a NHL Steel and a lighter "Steel" colour. Those colours should work fine with those colours you mentioned. Are you able to make them to proper sizes?

I played with the colours a little bit, this is what I ended with. All I did was add an outline of black, then an outline of Blue 2



It may not be perfect big, but when I shrink it down to the in game sizes it looks ok

Still working on the "Not signing players" issue
so far setting all teams to independent affiliates cures the issue, but I dont see a direct corrolation

Also, im currently under the assumption that Club Reputation grows but does not shrink

After simming forward 6 years, the Charleston Checkers (mine) have won the UHL Regular Season 4 times in a row
Their current rep is 4399
They started at 3900

The Colimbia Gaters have finished 5th more times than not
Their current rep is 3810
They started at 3200

After the Ontario Nationals finished 7/6th in the AHL east
Their Current is 6500
They started at 6500

Prince George sucks too
6200, to 6200

So im just going to assume, unless someone shows me otherwise, that Rep does not go down

Haha that's exactly right! If there is one thing this website has achieved, it is to raise awareness of Tony Hand!!

I'd also suggest a Swedish scout named Christoffer Backa. Give him decent Judging Player Ability and Potential ratings.

I am 40% sure ive fixed the affiliate thing; dependant teams will be 100% dependant on their parents, and will never sign players. Deadly to teams that dont carry 50 players, and to most third teir affiliates


For future reference, dependant SHOULD mean that the parent GM has full control over sigings and staff of the affiliate, IE taking over the role of GM

Semi Independant should the team gets their own GM, but the parent GM can still do things such as sign staff, and even fire the affiliate GM

indepentant should work like normal, where both teams get full GMs

but thats not how it works in EHM, so ive had to set all teams to independant. Im not sure of the full extents of the effects, but good enough for now

ive even noticed that AHL teams will offer tryouts to CHL/UHL players during the season, which is cool

Just ran a fake populated, all independent database all the way to 2030. I forgot to add staff, so alot of teams arnt hiring, but all teams that DONT have 2 affiliates (thus having 30 players anyway) are singing players

Im going to release a picture pack as a base, that has every players back in NHL 13/14, just to colour up the database. Each picture will be just the home/away jersey of the player, with their name and number. It wont show their faces. Eventually, ill work in star players with their faces, and maybe do every player, obviously in order of importance. I may never do the 42 year old British scrub in slovenia minor leagues, but the star players of each team will have them.

Ill release all of them grouped by their contract, so you can pick and choose. All also have a folder of all of them, to save you time if you just want all of them. I may even do a Home/Away/Third version of each player, again in order of importance
