So one thing I hadn't realized or thought about was the change in how the NHL draft lottery works. Is that customizable in the DB too? This year the draft lottery has changed so that all teams not making the playoffs have a chance for the top pick, rather than moving up no more than 2 spots. Have they done this in the new game?
Also, is the fantasy draft still in the game? If so, has that been changed at all? What about an expansion draft to add new teams?
Seriously, my head is buzzing from all of the excitement over this!
Our forums just hit a new record number of users online at once with 123 online right now. One of our older mottos seems to be more true now than ever:
Yeah I reset our previous record of 222 (which I think was set because of a lot of spammers trying to crawl our site). I thought it fitting we reset the record for today.

"The Blue Line Never Dies"
How true!
It's nice to log on and see some old familiar names among the users currently online too.
I'd say the busiest since the development of the Custom Start Date Patch back in summer/autumn 2011. But, other than that, it'll be since about September 2006!!!
A Big thanks to Archi and all the members here, I would spend more than I'm willing to admit on a new game and I can say without a doubt if this community wasn't so strong this game would have not made a return but the strength of this community offers optimism for the devs that they can bring back a successful game.
Great job over the years to the "staff" and members here and now lets get ready for some new EHM!
I've seen a lot of old users pop-up on the "Who is Online" section. Really nice to see.
I lurk about once a year, and recognise loads of the names every time. I haven't been this excited for a very long time, EHM was my favourite game ever and that's from someone that logs 1,500 hours each FM version.
This has seriously made my year! I cannot wait to download this and start playing. I addictively played 2007 EHM for years until my laptop finally died and i lost all the download files that I had. Nothing against the FHM developers, but I could never really get into that game. This is best news in a long time!

Guys, post a wish list somewhere on the forum or send it to me via PM. I'll pass the details to Riz - I know he plans to work on the online side of things. Seeing as you guys have been involved with the DM for so long, I think your views will be invaluable.
this will be my one game I will waive my Early Access rules. Still sounds like it's not a home run yet in terms of a fulltime comeback but It's a start.
Well done, Riz. And without you Archi over the years and roster guys, this would never of happened.
