i mean then its just random. thats not really cool either. it would be ok if they said like "well he could be x to y" or whatever, but just saying "nah he's worthless"... why would you pick him?

So how does editing work in this, considering you're loading what's in RAM? I know Archi says you can't switch teams yet, but are you safe to switch salaries or other items?

Salaries probably won't be editable either because there is an additional table in the saved game which has the salaries, clauses, etc for every contract and this isn't editable in the Assistant. Although I haven't had a chance to do any extensive testing, I'm expecting that editing right now will be restricted mostly to attributes.

I made a backup of my game last night when I posted the question weather today's update would break the compatibility. I've got my game back to version 15.2b until the Assistant updated ;-)

You can do it if you previously have a steam backup of the game. Luckily my experience with FM led me to do a backup last night.

I was curious, any chance of getting the "sorting" enabled?
Would make it much more user friendly.

Columns with names (strings) have sorting disabled because is a bit slow, maybe next update will be enabled as option.

It would appear there is no support for players with randomized Potential (ie, the players with POT below value of 0)? I fiddled around a bit looking at young players/prospects and realized Connor McDavid was nowhere to be found in any of the lists, and I can't even force him to show up on the list of Erie Otters. I'm guessing that's because the game somehow has his POT still randomized in the DB, or something?

It's weird.

Are you seeing any Major Junior players? because they all have variable PAs (IIRC all players age 23 and under have variable PAs)

I can. I can see everyone on Erie except McDavid in fact. There is no possible way I can Filter in order to see him. Not even by his name, obviously.

The only thing I can think of is that you're not allowed to filter using any values below "0", and POT uses negative values. I'm not sure of anything else that might use negative values though. Even if you manually type in a negative value, when you click to search it resets it to 0 before searching. I can't for the life of me find any other players that are having this....

...no wait. Noah Hanifin. I can't find him either, anywhere, in the Assistant. He won't show up in any lists. Same deal.

EDIT: Ryan Pilon as well. It's tough to track these guys down.

I'm not sure why you're not finding certain players, but I can't see it relating to the "negative values" as every player on Erie has a negative value PA (every player in the OHL, QMJHL and WHL has a negative value PA.....99.99% of all players in the databases who are age 23 and under have a negative value PA)

There were a few guys I couldn't find either. One that I recall was Henrik Tornqvist whom I had drafted in 2015. Should be in the original database. The only thing I could think of was his name has an o with umlaut. I'm pretty sure I had a couple of other young players with no special letters tho.

Yes if you want find Henrik Tornqvist you must type an o with umlaut not Tornqvist.

I think when the game is loaded player current, potential ability or reputation can't be below value of 0 and I check and I see all player from Erie and all players what you write.
If you don't change in filter current abillity minimum (0) or maximum (200) is not checked.
