BK - did you maybe think about re-design of ESL logo to look less like a soccer one ?

How about posting it on Steam so we don't have to keep downloading it every time theirs changes.

Yes Wichita has a Team but Springfield,MO has no team. Theirs other cities like Hartford who would like a team back in real life and if I was adding a Team would say Orlando or any city that has NBA team but no NHL Team. Also if doing a Womens League a Team in Tulsa and so on that has WNBA Team.

BK - did you change Sisak's colors in your first mini-update ? I installed it (just copied DB file over original one), but it didn't show me new colors

Forget it. I restarted the save and color changed

You can do it the same way you would in any other DB, need to adjust financial and transfer rules for the league.

Next addition wit update will have a logo pack update with the Europa branding changed to be a little less of a blatant rip-off of the football competition.

I duplicated and could continue on by clicking the "OK" quickly until the box went away.

Regardless, I'll look into it - this seems to be an issue with using an Early Start Date. All the actual league start dates for normal start dates are August 7th and later. So for now anybody playing the NHLX database should avoid using the "Early Start Date" option.

Yes, that could be a problem. I will try again using league start date. Because in other save I didn't experience any problems.

BKarchitect is it possible to resurrect Victoria Cup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Cup_(ice_hockey)) between European Champions League winner (in this case Kings of Europe Cup) and any NHL team (I guess game restricts this to Stanley Cup champion)? Or does EHM get too wonky for a game between North American and European teams during their respective seasons (or before start in case of NHL) in September/October?

And thanks for noticing the start date Filip, I'll avoid it too since I like to start in July usually.

I don't think it works in-season because the Stanley Cup isn't awarded until June and by then Euro rosters are a disaster with players leaving with contracts running out.

I will play around with like a September date maybe, before the seasons get underway - I'm wondering if the game will recognize the champion from the last season and put them in the game...only one way to find out...

It should. Champions hockey league draw date is July 15th in the game, and teams that qualified previous season gets in

Team SK Kadan playing Czech 1 Liga is not active. Extinct for financial reasons.

May the winner of the national European leagues.
Should Lulea in SHL be promoted to ESL?
This would be possible for anyone who wins their own league.

BK - Medvescak Zagreb should be re-named to KHL Medvescak Mladi (KHL means Klub hokeja na Ledu = in translate Ice hockey club). That is because original Medvescak, that is founded in 1960. and played EBEL and KHL is not active anymore, at least not until 2029. when their ban due to financial reasons, will be lifted.

Ok, first item is fixed, this is good because I didn't have room for Draci Sumperk so they are back in - so now all active second tier Czechia clubs are in.

Second point is not possible because of the multi-national setup of the ESL. I tried and it would be fun but for now the ESL remains exclusive. Some great clubs didn't make it but again I was aiming more for long-term financial stability, fan base size and market size. Lulea is a great performing club but limited in upside compared to some other teams. Lulea can still beat ESL clubs in the Lidstrom Cup and in the Kings Cup.

Yeah, my intention was to bring back the original Medvescak and put them in the AlpsHL to start, they can move up to the ICEHL and CHL, etc. So I realize that is not fully accurate but is on purpose. I can rename them to KHL Medvescak Zagreb if that is more appropriate. I do not intend them to be a junior or youth oriented team though, I intend them to be like the original Medvescak.

BK - Olympic pre-qualifiactions overlaps with start of Balkan Hockey league. Last game of OGQ is on September 7th and BHL starts on exact same date. Can you move first game of BHL just for one day in your future update ?
