Just one question.

Example: Mats Rosseli Olsen played with Furuset IF in 2008/2009. During that year that team was located in the top league in Norway. Now, as I can read in the database list it's located in the 2nd league (Norwegian First Division). Which league should I type in the history file?

Ok. So, in that case, players on the NHL player history roster that players games in the AHL should have their AHL stats appear on the NHL player history?

They should be listed as AHL stats but done by the NHL researcher

Also, for players traded, who does the stats? Example, Darryl Boyce played 22 games for the Marlies before being traded to Columbus, and playing 20 games there. Is that the Columbus' researchers responsibility?

Yes, that is the Columbus researchers responsibility.
You should do all stats for the players you see in the Database List for Toronto

That being the case, the Marlies and Maple Leafs are complete.

Thanks for spotting that! Yes, please do add them to your next sheet.

Basically, I'm copying and pasting everybody's research into one big master spreadsheet. It doesn't matter what order things are in - just so long as it's there somewhere. Thus it's no problem if you add additional stats later on because I can just add them to the end of my master spreadsheet.

Oh and a couple more notes:

- Brad Phillips played for Bloomington PrairieThunder in the Central Hockey League, but they're now Bloomington Blaze on the data list, so I used this new name in Phillips' stats.

- Phillips' real-world stats say he played in the NAHL when he was on the USNTDP, while the data list has the USNTDP listed under the USHL. Since the USNTDP is in a weird situation, I just went with the real-world stats and listed his league as the NAHL. So if this will cause technical problems, he can be found at the bottom of my NYR/NYI/NJ data.

That's completely the right approach to take. Always go with the real life league name. EHM will accept any combination of team and league name - so just go with whatever the actual league was.

Whilst I think of it: If you deal with any Memorial Cup games (i.e. the actual Memorial Cup and not the OHL/QMJHL/WHL Playoffs), make sure you enter the league name as "Canadian Hockey League Memorial Cup" and set the Playoffs box to "N".

Another quick pointer: Please do NOT add any national team stats (e.g. for the World Championships, Olympics, etc). The game does not support stats for national teams (e.g. Team USA, Team GB, Team Finland, etc).
