Thanks! It's nice to finally have some luck in this game; I've been pretty unlucky with technical problems in the previous race. Seemed to be quite tight for a few laps near the middle of the race but then I regained control and finished a whole 17.6 secs ahead of Minty
Congrats to second and third placed Minty and Oxenhoper - you guys are slowly getting further ahead in the overall season standings
Okay... here's something I've never seen before. Does anyone else for this race have 'angry red text' (as they say in Popo) that says "The perfect setup lies 8 points beyond the capabilities of the car." in their car setup page? The hell is that?
Yeah, i have that but only 5 points away. I guess it has something to do with Monaco being a street race and you aint never going to get a perfect setup there.
It is a fabulous place to watch a race, i was there in 92, when Senna was the one to beat. We sat on the swimming pool complex. Just to give you a feel of how expensive it is, we went to a club called the tip top club which is on the circuit and paid what was then £72 english pounds for two drinks, we also had drinks at le cafe de paris which is opposite the casino and was charged a fortune for a coke, mineral water and a sandwich. The glitz and the glam in one place, It really is a different world.

It means that one(or more) of your wings/suspension etc.. can't be setup perfectly for the race. So you'll have to set it at 100(or 0) for the best results possible for you, when it should actually be like 106 for example. Means that some cars are suited to certain tracks and others are suited to different tracks.
Also will you stop passing me on the last lap please?
I managed to avoid that happening last time by crashing out...

I find it's a good tactic to give your password to your teammate when you know you're gonna be away for a while. This way, you can cover each other. Of course make sure your password is different to your usual one!
That was one of my best races too... I had come back from Archi trying to take me out and I was all and catching up a few seconds at a time in third about to make my big move and then WHAM! crapaduck...
We'll be back and flea this thread/game has always been all about the trash talk so no need to apologize
Even when the safety car screws up a 19 sec lead, Zippo trying over enthusiastic overtaking moves the Ox still wins. Come on guys i need some competition. I think they are right when they say F1 is boring.
Yikes! What a poor start by me! I somehow managed to slip down from pole position to 5th on the first lap I guess 4th place is ok, all things considering.
I really have pants luck when it comes to raceday. I can't believe I crashed on the penultimate lap to lost third place Congrats to Zippo, Nick and Stinson
