JH06 has mentioned to me that the following players should be retired:
Michael Szczachor (Everett Silvertips)
Matt MacDermott (Kelowna Rockets)
Andy Bossence (Kootenay Ice)
James Cherewyk (Kootenay Ice)
Devyn Tremblay (Medicine Hat Tigers)
Lenny Thunderchild (Portland Winterhawks)
I never knew there were so many players that was listed as playing for a team but not contracted to one. Most of them are old stuff, probably from when the game was created. Any such player will turn up a free agent when starting a game.
Great that we're able to remove them completely now

I'll double check the master research spreadsheet to ensure that the dates are correct there (it might be that they were wrongly inputted in NA format and I simply copied them without noticing).
I have corrected the original post with the correct data. Petriello was born in April.
I haven't seen it mentioned but there are 2 of the same person in the DB. Brian Williams on Tri Cities is the same person as the Brian Williams from SD. He's not from Washington.

It turns out that they had been written incorrectly in the spreadsheet and I'd just quoted them here without noticing. Phew, my sanity is still intact!

No, they are two different players. Both are called Brian Williams.

Thanks!
I've been meaning to look over this league before. It was just not high on the priority list

Maybe there are 2 players named Brian Williams but the birthplaces are wrong. The one on Tri Cities is from Claremont, California. Not Everett. I know for a fact since I played him.

The one on Tri-City does not even have birthplace in the db. We will change it to Claremont, though

He was probably over-written.
I don't know if we'll find the time to add all missing staff. We'll see
Team records for Montreal Canadiens
Most career games should be Henri Richard, not Henri Rial
Most career goals should be Maurice Richard, not Matthieu Rial
Most career wins should be Jacques Plante, not Chris Havelid
Most points by a rookie should be either Mats Naslund or Kjell Dahlin, not Mathias Nasberg
Most goals by a rookie should be Kjell Dahlin, not Kjell Dahlgren

I will double-check, but I think this is a bug with EHM. There are various records which have scrambled player names despite the fact that they are correct in the database. I can see from the corrections made that the names are almost correct (e.g. Rial instead of Richard) and this is a symptom of the bug.
Ilya Ezhov (goaltender for SKA St-Petersburg) and Ilia Ejov (free agent in the database) are the same person. It's just a problem with different cyrillic transcriptions in latin alphabet. One should be deleted !
EDIT : Oh, and that's not really a roster issue, but I don't know where to put it
Don't hesitate to tell me if it's the wrong thread.
CSKA Moscow now have a second affiliate team since this year. They are now also affiliated to THK Tver in the VHL.

Archi - retire the latter and also change the nameset Ejov to something more Russian like Ivanov.
