If you give a player who is 32+ years old a loyality value of at least 16 and current reputation of at least 145 he'll get a NTC. If you want to remove a NTC, just lower loyality or reputation.

You're my man Lidas, thanks a lot for the quick answer!

This forum here is quite a paradise for a hockey fanatic, who is not from the america and not so well involved in the game. Thanks to watchin the NHL games and reading a lot in this forum I became a much better manager (and I think much more realistic^^)! EHM is so complicated when playin it first! Keep up the good work here!

Sure. There are couple of teams which you can't remove ™ mark and Phoenix isn't one of them. Remember that when you just rename the team, all players which have Phoenix as a favourite club, they have your Hamilton as a favourite club. I recommend to create a new team.
TehJesster wrote:2) Can you clear a teams history? Like player scoring all-time records for NHL clubs?
I'm not sure. If it's possible, it's in record_config file. Like I said, I recommend to create a new team.
The two teams that allegedly cannot be moved are the Phoenix Coyotes and the Atlanta Thrashers, but there is a way around this.

If you want to move either team, you can. What you need to do is create another Phoenix Coyotes or Atlanta Thrashers, depending on which one you moved. You don't have to add either to any league, just create a team with their name and trademark symbol at the end and everything will be find with the database. I've done it before and it works perfectly.

I never had issues renaming teams etc.. For example in my last game I renamed the Ducks into Mighty Ducks and the Stars back to Minnesota North Stars. But I didn't change anything else.. and also didn't rename any other team in another league to "Ducks" or "Stars". And it worked fine. So mayby the renaming of the japanese team is the problem?

I have version 1.6 of the pre-game editor. (Had to reload everything on computer.)

For some reason I cannot add or edit rights. I used to be able to. Is there a newer version that allows it? I got the editor off of here. I uninstaleld it and reloaded again. Still no joy. Any suggestions?

The "add rights" button doesnt work in the 1.6 editor. As 1.6 is the newest one, you need to use 1.5 if you want to add rights.

Thank you very much. And for the quick replies. :)

I figured I screwed something up. Which has been known to happen from time to time.

Can you make players "not interested because he is unwilling to leave Helsingin Jokerit to a North American team"

Like Jani Rita still plays in Jokerit, real life, but in EHM he leaves after 06/07 or 07/08. And it would be badass to have Hasek regen play his career in Finland. :guns: Just kidding...

I've never tried it, but try setting his loyalty at 20 and his home reputation much higher than the world reputation. It might work. Also have Jokerit as his favourite team

When I try to edit some select staff members I get this error when pressing "confirm":

" Is not a valid integer

What on earth does that mean? I can't find the answer for this question anywhere, and the only thing I've edited on the staff member is clear him from the team (aka make him a free agent) so I can add in my own custom created head coach.

Anybody know the solution to this?

You have written something in a field that can't be there.

How do you move draft picks in the pre-game editor?

For example, undoing the 1st, 1st, 2nd for Phil Kessel trade.

You need to edit the extra_config file.

You're welcome, and sorry for my short answer. I was rushing to work, and didnt have time to write a thorough explanation. Did you figure out what to change? I try to keep the extra_config fairly organized, so I don't think you should have any problems finding the picks there. Once you find them just delete the rows, or put a # in front of them.

Thanks.
