Well deserved. Should have been no goal. THis is the type of hit that needs to go.

I know Therrien was pretty mad about it and I can understand.

Re: Official NHL Season 14-15 Thread
Ference needs to get something for the head shot on Kassian last night. IT was pretty funny listening to idiot Kypreos and moron Galley defend the hit..."Oh it is so clear he did not mean to target the head ...so obvious" Hrudey went nuts on them, and told them that a head shot is a head shot....is a head shot, and said just like Burrows, he needs to be suspended. And yeah Ference in the penalty box pretty much realized that he was gonna get something. YOu can tell from the way he reacts. Hrudey went so hard at them on the panel that both Galley and Kypridiot started to change what they were saying on air.
Head target, arms up chicken wing, and no injury...past history (grabovsky, someone else) 2-3 games, but with history could be 5.

Tarasenko just WOW. Could be goal of the year already! I had visions of Forsberg watching him doing his moves.

Great game that
Tarasenkos goal was ace, Hagelins pass to MSL was amazing and Nash backhandpass to MSL was also really great...

Fleury signed a 4 years extension at 23 millions. Even though I think the guy is a lil bit overrated, it's a pretty good deal at less than 6 millions a year.

Re: Official NHL Season 14-15 Thread
He has been on fire to start the year. He has been much maligned for some perceived choking, but as much as he has choked, his defense in front of him has let him down. Both dmen and forwards. That being said, in his entire career he has had a knack of letting in bad goals at high profile and high importance times...and gets appropriately kicked in the head for it.
He is the whipping boy, much like Roberto Luongo in Vancouver. Solid goalie, expected to bail out his team who only thinks offensively, and hangs him out to dry. ... A....L....O....T.
BTw that hockey game in Denver last night was something else. Two different games. Colorado dominated and was good for much of the game and then with 4 seconds left in 2nd period the Sedin twins go to work and make it a game. Then...boom Vancouver dominates period 3.
I have to say...in all the years of Alain Vigneault and then the dufus last season...the Canucks have never had a team that spread the ice time around so much and got such strong performances from their entire cast of characters.... except whenever their back up goalie plays. Lack has been screwed and in the back end of two games in two days Vancouver has been slow and bad.
Oh yeah...Nick Bonino. WHAT? 6-5-11. Vs Kesler 3-5-8.
Bonino is firing that puck. Two ridiculous bar down shots, 1 vs St Louis and another last night short side vs Varlamov. Been a big suprise.
Alex Edler--showing signs of playing again. Hitting hard at times, skating and moving the puck. Sbisa--scary, but man does he hit hard when he gets there.
Loving what I see from Linden Vey, this kid can play moves the puck, sees the ice. Cannot win a faceoff to save his life though.
Watch the highlights of Bonino 1st goal last night. THis is a goal that NO LINE in Vancouver has ever scored, save for the Sedin line. Cycle, skate move the puck and tap in empty netter. Bonino to Higgins. Higgins to Vey, to Higgins to Bonino back of net. Gorgeous.

Re: Official NHL Season 14-15 Thread
Bonino goal yesterday was pretty darn amazing. Varlamov was covering almost all the side of the net and he got hit right where there was still space. I really like those kind of goals!
Maybe Vancouver this year will be the Colorado of last year? Change of coaches help alot sometimes!

Good game last night between Rangers and Red Wings, a shame it was almost ruined by woeful refereeing... some of the worst refereeing i've ever seen actually, it went both ways too =/ no hearing for Franzén after a really bad headshot on Hagelin either, dont understand that one either...

I definitely call Kasparaitis. With all the variety of stuff against asthma that is around, why would someone pick medication from Europe when you play in N-A? Maybe he is a horse then?

Tarasenko is truly awesome. Here there is an interview with him I translated a couple of days ago and you'll find that he's even more awesome. http://bit.ly/1EgeajO

Tommy Wingels had 9 hits against the Canucks.
That's a lot!
Vlad is truly spectacular this season! I'm glad Lehterä gets to play with him.

Of Wingels 9 hits, only one was obvious watching on TV. Watched the whole game and the only one that was a hit of any import was one on Bieksa. Rest he may have bumped into someone lightly. The stat guy in San Jose for that is now rivalling the Minnesota guy who gave Clutterbuck a hit every time he moved his left foot.
Also in that game...Ryan Miller was unreal, and Nick Bonino with another ridiculous snipe. Bonino has 7 goals. Canuck fans say who is Kesler?

Habs traded Moen to Dallas for Gonchar. Wasn't expecting Bergevin been able to trade Moen at some point.

I saw it this morning on TV! Pretty lucky if you ask me but still a great goal!
And yeah, Gonchar was injured since the start of the season I think, he played like 3 games.

Why was Mike Smith named second star in their last game?!
They lost 4-3 and he had a SV% of .875

Nathan Horton could need a surgery for his back that would officially end his career. He says that he got constant pain, can't sleep much and can't even stand up straight. Sucks for him.
Another headline that sucks, seems like the NHL have identified the futur owners for a franchise in Las Vegas..... *pukes*

Well if it's that bad I don't see a point in continuing his career with a pain like that.
