Tournament table at the end of december:

Image

Dinamo Riga had fantastic strech during these months an now tops the table followed by best KHL and NHL clubs
Still can' t solve PP and PK issues. Tried diamond and umbrella formations as recommended in tactics thread but improvements were minor. Metallurg Mg released M.Keenan ... signed him, fans were left baffling :dunno:

2nd regular season results:

Dinamo Riga was winner of the regular season with 157 points in 60 games. E.Gracyov was the best league scorer with 78 points ahead of M.Gaborik, A.Copitar and S.Crosby. Hossa - Gracyov - Indrasis made my first line this season and were awesome.

Colorado Avalanche was first post NHL team not qualifying for CHL play-offs. 68 points in 60 games gave them 11th position in East which is very weak considering they play in CHL final in 1st season and taking into account fact they have one of the highest player budgets in league.

European league teams performed considerably better this season with swedish Frolunda and Brynas qualifying for PO. Also czech Sparta and finnish Karpat was very close to qualifying but missed just few points in last games. Also Oulu Karpat this season was much better than Helsinki Jokerit.
Swiss teams Davos and ZSC Lions however performed disastrous and finished in last positions of league.
