Can I create truly Champions hockey league (with new EHM 1 alpha editor possibly) by creating new league or modifying some existing league to accomodate champions and best clubs from regional leagues like SHL, Switzerland, Finland, NHL, KHL, AHL, Czech republic and Germany?

There is an euro.cfg file if I'm not wrong, but it counts for season 1 only. Alternatively you can create an European league based on any other league by swapping teams (and using the import_config file)

You mean swapping teams in new EHM 1 editor? (I have done this long time ago in old EHM 2007 version and using pre-game editor) Could you please explain in more details import_config file part?

So just for fun I created a sort of Super KHL with teams from more nations. I initially wanted to put the Alaska Aces in, but then it would have been too much of a mess with the ECHL and thus I reactivated the Anchorage Aces. They can send players to the Aces of the ECHL. The league is very fun to play, yet the KHL simulation should be improved to have it even better.

Could you please show your config file for this setup?

Decided to build Champions Hockey League based on KHL.

These clubs were selected for new league:

NHL - four Top NHL teams: LA Kings (regular season winner), Chicago Black Hawks, Minnesota Wild and Pittsburgh Penguins, one bottom NHL team: Colorado Avalanche;
SHL - Frolunda Indians (champion hockey league winner and regular season winner), Brynas (PO winner);
Liiga - Oulu Karpat (regular season winner) and there will be another team from Finland already in KHL Jokerit Helsinki;
NLA - Davos (regular season and PO winner), ZSC Lions;
Czech League - Sparta (regular season winner);
DEL - Eisbaren Berlin.

New league creation went well, changed reputation, foreigner limit and salary cap and floor.

Could not remove Atlant from KHL, it seems this team is somehow different than ohers and sticky.
Also could not include best club from AHL - Hershey Bears, they are somehow not regarded as a team and there is error saying one team is missing if I add them.
Now I have to decide which team to include instead of AHL Hershey Bears, potential candidates are Champions from Slovakia - Nitra, from Norway - Stavanger Oilers, from Austria - Salzburg Red Bull or even maybe Bristish Belfast Giants. It looks kind of qualification required

How come you cannot remove Atlant? They aren't even in the KHL...

I'm currently using 2014 rule set and TBL 7.4 Rosters.

Ok. Be on the lookout for any spelling. Or maybe the club in the pre-built importer is spelled different. How do you call the team? Maybe it's in as Atlant Mytischi, Atlant Moscow Oblast, Atlant Moscow Region...

Hi! How you did that in the standings you have your new teams? I tried make in KHL league with the clubs from Belarus, Ukraine, Poland etc, and when i go to standings, old russian clubs still here. But i swap them with poland clubs for example, and that's weird.
Can you show screenshots from editor of your new teams?

Yes, Medvescak is very low, Jokerit should have higher player budget IRL, Slovan could be close to real budget, Dinamo Riga actually have 12,5m Eur player budget, I just didn,t utilise it fully. European teams actually increased their salaries when moved into new league - these new ones seem more realistiv though.

Step by step fine tuning teams tactic and line selections. After loosing two pre-season friendlies to Dinamo Minsk and SKA participated in tournament with teams from SHL, NLA and AHL and managed to get 1st place:



HersheyBears won both Linkoping and Bern and took 2nd place which is big surprise but still probably not impossible IRL!

Yeah, i did that. For example i swap Brynas from SHL and SKA from KHL. When i select SKA, it's playable, SKA in the standings of SHL. When i go to KHL and select Brynas it's playable, but Brynas isn't in standings, SKA is still here.
And when season started, i play games with Brynas, but Brynas isn't in the standings.
I read some information here to use "FORCE_DATABASE_SET_TEAMS" and "CHANGE_TEAM_DIVISION_DATA" in Import_config.cfg file, but it didn't help.

Yes, and all new teams in Eastern Conference, that's weird, maybe i'm doing something wrong.
For example: "CHANGE_TEAM_DIVISION_DATA" "Linköpings HC" "Kontinental Hockey League" "Kontinental Hockey League Tarasov Division".

And in editor that's looks like:
League --- Kontinental Hockey League
Detailed division --- Kontinental Hockey League Tarasov Division
Reserve division --- [None]
Previous league --- Swedish Hockey League

I make all the clubs in this way, and all of them now in Eastern Conference.
Maybe that's because i'm using wordpad to work with the import_config.cfg, and some symbols are not supported, i don't know.
