With that trade it's 100% sure no doubt about it. It's Price and no one else.......ouch. :-D

Hamhuis' rights and a conditional 7th rounder for Parent.

Wow.

Wonder which of Carle or Coburn are gone?

Or Gagne or Carter maybe?

Jason Arnott to the Devils for Matt Halischuk and a 2011 2nd rounder.

Good luck Flyers with that futur signing ouch.....plus the Preds take the player they trade 3 years ago, stupid.

I'm surprise though that Nashville trade Arnott, I know since 2 years he slowed down alot but it was still their captain. Plus, they don't got to much for him. Well with Arnott in the team I think the little chances to see Kovalchuk are gone now.

Did I say I was asking for a star foward? Just not expecting a nobody , at least they got the second pick.

Tallon is cleaning house in Florida and rumor has it that Horton will be going to either Buffalo or Boston. I'm not sure how I'd feel about him coming to Boston. I've often heard the term "heartless" used when describing him. But then I wonder if that's a product of his environment. It must be hard to play in Florida where nobody cares. Plus, I've read that he really upped his game last season. We'll see how it all plays out.

Bob McKenzie (Or Darren Dreger, I can't remember but I am more sure it was McKenzie) made mention of a Horton to Boston deal that was being held off until this week here.

Could be interesting.....Just wondering who the Bruins would give to Florida for Horton.

Sorry, just went back to check (Should have done that while posting, but what can ya do!) and this was Bob McKenzie's tweet on the matter from yesterday:

BTW, nothing imminent on Horton with BOS as in tonight. Stand down. Going to be a big week for potetial wheeling and dealing.

Friday will definitely be interesting. There's almost always some trades at the draft.

Well seeing as though they're drafting Seguin most likely, they'll likely try to deal Krecji or another center for him. Who knows?

Maybe Jason Spezza will change is uniform this summer as I read on the internet...It will make a good trade at the draft. :-D

Spezza was allegedly supposed to have been traded to the Blue Jackets. Never happened.

Canucks hire Rollie the Goalie as their goaltending coach. Montreal loses him. Roland Melanson for those kids out there, who do not know the name Rollie the goalie as anything but Dwayne Roloson.

Kaberle to the Ducks?

They do have 2 1st this year...

Horton, Greg Campbell for Wideman, 15th overall and another draft pick.

by philou21
Melanson was fired since last year at MTL they don't lose anything. :dunno:

Horton to Boston is confirmed! Don't got other names for the moment.

Edit: I know some Bruins fans here who will be happy to see Wideman gone. :-D Not a bad trade.....just no more 2 first picks for the B's, anyway they still got the most important of both.

TSN said that MTL agree on a long term contract with Plecky, details to come. Who take a bet? 4, 4.5 millions?

Posted: Tue Jun 22, 2010 8:40 pm
by alexob18
5 Mill, multi year. Book it.

Also, cap may not be 59.64. It might be lower, that's just the escalator.

5 millions will be a little too high for me though. I don't think Pleckanec will make 80 pts per season all the time, plus in playoffs he is horrible. Anyway, I should get used to that, the "new" NHL works like that.

Kesler got $5M, I think it might be similar to what Plekanec gets. :-k
