Ah, I was trying to do batch editing. Guess I can't do that because I can't use the older ehm editor (which can do batch editing but needs 07 format). too bad.archibalduk wrote:If you are loading a .db file then this is in EHM 1 format and there is no need to save as EHM 2007 format. Just save it as EHM 1 format and start a new game.
Can work... the thing is that we need a one-siz-fits-all solution, because otherwise that function is unuseful.archibalduk wrote:Ok I'll take a look - it'll really depend on how much sense it makes to have month numbers in that context (because they appear both in the Editor and the csv file). An alternative option would be to force English month names.
Would you like to try and explain better? I don't understand. Unfortunately I don't know Hungarian language, so we have to stick to English.kismedvee wrote:Hy All!
Please little help me. The new TBL roster (9.2) most modification; the MOL League's team is not god. So, how can modifi the db?
ok,and sorry the wrong topic writhing the feedbacksarchibalduk wrote:I have moved the MOL Liga feedback to the MOL Liga Feedback Thread: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 55#p224747
Editing a player in the EHM 2007 Pre-Game Editor causes the Player Role to be reset. It isn't compatible with them unfortunately. You'd have to back them up using the 2007 Updater, make your changes and then re-import.axepig wrote:Hey, I used to make databases with 200 PA (to have more obscure country and more random players become good), I changed all the PA of the players to 200 but since the new EHM I have struggled with it. I made it work with the original database because it was 07 compatible but when I tried to load it up the roles were all wrong (all defensemen were offensive dmen for example) I guess it's due to the early patches that introduced new roles. Could anyone tell me how to make a new db where every single player in the world has 200 PA?
Players/staff cannot be moved in saved games. It doesn't work.jooelj wrote:When moving players from another team to my team i can not submit new numbers for them and i can still approach to buy. I edited a savefile if that matters
I have not been able to repeat this issue. If it is still an issue with the next release (version 0.1.8) then please post some detailed steps on how to reproduce the issue. I recall Javs mentioned the same issue for version 0.1.5 which may have related to a fairly significant clubs bug which I fixed for version 0.1.7 - so it might be that the issue above is fixed.Ahall88 wrote:I'm having a problem creating new teams; whenever I make a new team and try to save the editor crashes and when I reload it the finance info, rules & structures, ruling bodies, schedule templates, and transfer rules tabs are all blank.(The created team does show up, but I'm sure the database is now unplayable.)
I can create a new league without any problems though.
Should I just use EHM 2007 pre-game editor to add all the teams?
(Sorry if this has already been brought up/solved I only briefly skimmed the other pages.)
Editing club budgets works for me. I have only tested when disabling the financial adjustments setting when starting a new game. I did however notice that the exchange rate is out of date - but you'll see the figures match if you use US Dollars in game.djskek wrote:How can I change the players budget of the teams? No matter what I type, it does not change.
And in general, why were the team reputations increased? Did the Community agree on a specific area with the individual leagues? In Germany DEL the lowest is 5000.
Unfortunately, I have been a while out of the community and have not noticed everything.
I tried a couple of teams in the UK and the settings worked fine. I'd suggest reporting any specific instances of this to Riz as it is likely a game issue.Alessandro wrote:Archi, I'm not sure if this is a problem of the editor or the game (I think the latter, but I prefer asking). If you change a team's status fro Junior to Professional, for example, the DB saves it (close and reload show updated information), but the game does not retain the new status. I have screenshots if it's not clear.
Can you have a look?
Fixed.Alessandro wrote:Archi - "Club limited to use natural domestic players only" in extra rules should not be a true/false, but it should be able to read the team unique ID
Since then, I tried myself, and everything seemed to working fine. Now, we have three options. 1) I was drunk 2) it was a combo 3) game issue. We can't rule out anyone of them (especially the first lol, but please no literally drunk, I dont drink) so I guess I'll run another share of thesting with this over the summer.archibalduk wrote:

I think this is a part game bug and part Editor bug. As far as I can tell, the game doesn't seem to show award histories where the winner does not exist in the database. This is weird because I thought it used to - it's just that the name displayed wasn't clickable.swmlon wrote:Not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but I've edited the NHL awards to go as far back as possible for most awards, including adding people where applicable, for example Dominik Hasek. However, two things happen when I start a new game. 1. The awards only show up to 1986, nothing prior, and when I click on the people I've created, like Hasek, the game crashes. Any ideas on how to get around either of these two issues in the game editor.
Thanks
Ha! Don't let Tasku hear that!Alessandro wrote:Since then, I tried myself, and everything seemed to working fine. Now, we have three options. 1) I was drunk 2) it was a combo 3) game issue. I think I've fixed the Editor-side of the issue but it'll need some further testing when I release the next version.archibalduk wrote:I think this is a part game bug and part Editor bug. The Editor however is creating duplicates of names where it shouldn't and so I'll fix that. There's an additional issue in that it seems if you add a name via the Awards History it won't be assigned a nationality. This is to be expected because it is just adding the name for the purposes of the history. However, it seems the game will crash if a name without a nationality is used in the Award History. So I think I'll need to add some sort of prompt which asks you to set a nationality for any name you enter which does not have one.
