Jeez. Good consolation prize if you can't make the Islanders. You win the Calder every year, almost. Might as well start giving it to Bridgeport before the season. XDCalv wrote:Bridgeport beat quad city for the Calder
And, whoo! Got my first 20, in Wristshot. Only thing that's keeping me back from a great scoring season is the fact that I've got no speed, and for a guy I designed to be a power forward, I'm pretty weak. x.x Stupid physicals.

Mullane broke the 100 points barrier in the NHL last season
We also saw a couple of others get close to the point per game mark as well, not me mind I've gone rubbish
Considering I know what my PA is I'm performing well below it..... Think I may leave the Flames soon they're playing me out of position ](./images/smilies/wallbash.gif)

I haven't had much for stat increases since Junior.
I'm also wondering what the heck happened to my play. The first half of the season I played okay. Then it went downhill from there. Actually, I had a hot start in the first 10 games and then it got progressively worse. That last half of the season was embarrassing though.

I will have a look what line you're on laterNurgle wrote:darn... no increases in any stats between 2016 and 2017 screenshots!
And for a kid who makes 1.7m per year I sure play like rubbish. 19 points in 79 games.
Ah well I guess I'm a fourth liner or something. Probably not getting a whole lot of ice time. Is there any way to check that?

flyers signed another d-man half way through the season and you got bumped down to the third line...bruins72 wrote:I haven't had much for stat increases since Junior.![]()

WOW! That third line is atrocious! Look at how bad my +/- got from being on that line. I'll stick it out there for now but if next season is just as bad, maybe I'll look for a trade.Calv wrote:flyers signed another d-man half way through the season and you got bumped down to the third line...bruins72 wrote:I haven't had much for stat increases since Junior.![]()

I still don't understand why they don't let me fight though.

Finally I got a good season, although in the AHL. Over a point per game as a defenseman and a 7.55 Avg. I guess I was injured at the beginning of the season 'cause I only played 55 games.
Hopefully I'm just a late bloomer and still make it to the big league. The last scouting report wasn't too convincing, projected skilled defenseman, no 5-6 potential, like Dmitri Kulikov.

I broke my goal record, assist record, point record, plus/minus record (first time +/- >0 in NHL), penalty minute record, fighting record (most fights and fights won) and average rating record. However, my salary went down from $904,000 to $492,000. Calv, because you can't send me to Europe, could you offer me to everyone and trade me to a team that has a thin selection of centers. But could you the most southern teams. Thank you!

I'll trade ya. I'm getting more fights than I should. Definitely dropped off in the category this year, winning only one out of five. Saw career highs in games played, goals, assists and points, but my +/- numbers are atrocious. However, I'm guessing that's a team thing, since it seems the Flyers missed the playoffs this go around.bruins72 wrote:I wish I had that many fights! For some reason, the Flyers never let me fight.
