Yes, put me in this camp as well. Unless they address the forcing of archaic resolutions, I may be out. If I can't play this Windowed on my laptop, I'm not going to get to play it and therefore not going to purchase it of course. A lot has changed in displays since 2007.

I know right now they're just piggybacking off the 2007 setup but... by Final Release they need to address it and have some windowed options that work for widescreen. 1366 x 768 means 1024 x 768 won't work for windowed. 1280 x 720 would be nice instead. That's a low enough widescreen res that it should work for the vast majority of users and allow for windowed on most all laptop widescreens.

I would like to see advanced stats, but since there is so much still being learned on this topic, I hope they give basic stat tracking (Corsi and who's on ice, for example) and let people create and share formulas in game that use different information to create their own advanced stats

"Screen goalie" check box in personal tactics

ooh good idea. I know I have manipulted the tactics before (especially on the PP) to get the guy I wanted in front of the goalie and it lead to a lot of deflection and rebound goals but I don't know if he was truly screening. Maybe screen and "look for deflection" since they might be 2 different type of roles but both in front of the goalie?

Overload slot and funnel have 2 or 3 players right in front of the goalie, just put your biggest, strongest, best deflection players there. At least that's how it was in the 2007 version.

and I could not find the screen on which we see our roster depth.

When you get a warning for an improper roster b4 a game I wish it would tell you what needs fixing!

Edit: further to this issue, I get a warning and allow my assistants to make necessary changes and play the game, however the 20 players that played the game are the exact same 20 I had chosen previously. Seems like a bug, not a wishlist thing.

Did you assign them spots in your tactics, too or just dress them?

I had them all assigned to lines and pairings. Have not done all the personal tactics yet but that should not matter. Played another game with a few lineup changes, made sure they all were assigned positions/lines etc, got the improper message and he same thing happened as before.dammmmit i bet i never made anybody captain..... I'll play my not feeling well card/shoulda known better

Another message thing. After a game it will say " Calgary edges out opponent in close encounter" Why can't it just say "Calgary edges Kamloops in close encounter"?

Holy Adam Oates I just had the ultimate wish list idea: A Hotbar.

We all have our favorite screens to look at and some require a few more clicks than the others. Give us the option to bind a screen to one of four hotbar icons on the top navigation bar for quick access from any menu screen.

Personally, I would love to assign to it "Team Report, Draft Preview, Shortlist, League Stats"

Right now jpgs dont work as player pictures, which sucks as I now have to convert all the images I have to pngs

Come to think of it, I think JPG images don't work in game any more. I have only been able to get PNGs to work. Try using PNGs if you haven't.

YES! This was actually it! So the game does support bigger pictures than 185x200 pixels, it was just the format. Thanks a lot, the game feels right again.

So, like Animal just said, the game only supports PNG images atm.

Could we get the player's position listed alongside his name/team in the title bar? I keep finding my eyes going there to see the position, it feels out of place where it is right now.

One thing that really SUCKED in EHM 2007, and I think all of you will agree with me, is criteria for getting into Hall of fame, especially in the NHL...I mean, third liners, players with barely 0.50 PPG. That should be fixed in this version

How about an easy way to access your minor league teams? In 07 your minor league teams were listed on your Front Office screen. Unless I'm missing something, you now have to go to Roster, then Info, then select the minor league team. It's not a big deal but I liked it being easier to access as I spend a lot of time going back and forth courtesy of the oft injured Zetterberg and Datsyuk.

On a side note: I can't thank you enough for developing this.

The question about accessing your affiliates seems to be a very common one. I'm thinking perhaps it isn't obvious enough as it stands - is it that the buttons are too small?

It's that they're not labeled at all. I thought those buttons would move me through other NHL teams. Maybe on the Front Page or as a radio button on the roster page.

I'd simply like to see most of the text either bolded or a little bit bigger font. A lot of the text is kind of hard on the eyes.
