I'd have to agree with Corinthian. Lightning logo would look cooler without "Tampa Bay". Jersey looks good though.

I dont mind the Lightning Logo all too much. Its better than the old one but I just think its too plain. Whats up with wearin black too, To me I think Lightning needs to be bright (THEY SHOULD NOT WEAR YELLOW!) and black just doesnt fit...

That second one is pretty cool! The first one is just bad though. Honestly, it reminds me of the old Hartford Whalers jersey because of the colors.

That's a sweet looking logo. I've always liked logos that are a little enigmatic. Tampa Bay would do well with just a lightning bolt without the city name.

How about the Elsinore brewery logo? Would that work?

Guys...Saranis was having some fun with me. Canucks logos are brutal, so he designed (or someone else) one that incorporated all of the rubbish from the past into one big naff logo .

I think it is awesome, considering Vancouver's logo history. Not one on a uni mind you, but just to remind us how bad it has been. Like we needed a reminder.

Yup, I found this on the HFBoards a few days ago and saved it to send to one of my friends in Vancouver. Its just a joke (I hope) Sorry if anyone took it seriously, I just thought it was too hideous for that.

Scroll down for the photos. Not a great job of the design. Not horrid though. I still think these are the right colors for Vancouver. Want to see road white though soon. It is out today...but no real photos other than these up anywhere yet.


Not bad, not great. Many hate the "VANCOUVER". Not sure what I think yet.

I guess they're not horrible but they still make me think of the Whalers. They really need to get rid of that killer whale C though. It's a terrible logo. I don't mind the Vancouver so much.

Yeah maybe. But what they said today is the younger fan base...somehow,someway really identifies with the Orca. The Orca, VANCOUVER look way too busy on Naslund with the "C" in the upper right too. At least there is no jersey number on the front. That would have been insane.

I have to say, I really like the simplicity and old-school look of that jersey.

Now, if they could just bring-in that old logo on their shoulder as the main logo, I think they'd have a great look going.

If they'd just get rid of the word mark they'd be fine... not a patch on the old Whaler jerseys but not bad either.

Guys...in case you do not recall...the Whalers copied the Canucks. And until the very nearly end of Hartford they had ugly green unis...not blue with green...and when they did have blue it was much much darker.
