Just looked back Col...your birthplace is the Yukon. That be WHL territory, so that is why you went to WHL draft. Playing in Ontario does not matter.

In real life lots of kids from Ontario or Quebec play for Notre Dame in Saskatchewan...but they still go to OHL or QMJHL.

In real life, it is where you live at the time of the draft. Mailing address for your parents...which in the game is translated to place of birth.

If Steve Yzerman were part of this experiment his Cranbrook BC birthplace would dictate he go WHL...even though in real life he did not play WHL because he lievd in Ontario.

I'm excited by young Cherry, 21 goals and 22 assists in 21 games.

I'm to work out what year were all eligible for each draft, obviously WHL is this year. So i'm guessin CHL, OHL and QMJHL are all in 2 years is it not?

OHL drafts 15 year olds..so next season. I beleive the Q is the same, but it could be 16. In junior hockey terms the CHL is the umbrella org of the WHL, OHL, and Q...so it would not have a draft.

And those of us who plays in Europe have to wait until we're 16 years old, I think, might be even older. :dunno:

Johan doing decent 19 points in 26 games with 63 PIM and about a 7

And the scouts may think i'm the 6th best in the draft but they'll see the mistake when the wrist shot starts to develop.

I have a really good season at this point with 41 goals and 62 points in 27 game played. I'm suppose to be draft in the QMJHL, somebody can told me in how many seasons i'm suppose to be draft ?

Keven Roux:

2 GP / 2-1-3 and 0 PIMs in September
8 GP / 15-7-22 and 6 PÏMs in October
9 GP / 12-5-17 and 8 PIMs in November
8 GP / 12-8-20 and 14 PIMs in December

27 GP / 41-21-62 and 28 PIMs

How does this work for Yanks? In a test game I ran, my player (born in Chicago, played Junior A in Alpena, Michigan) was drafted into OHL. Do all U.S. kids go there, or is it also a geographic division?

One thing I've noticed in running two of these is that pretty much every created character does well in the little pansy leagues.

They are so much better than their competition it's retarded.

Calv wrote:I've solved the problem of Andy Sundstrom not getting any games.

I took over HIFK as GM, dropped him down to the juniors and then retired. The previous GM then took over and he's kept him there so far(and he played 6 games in November!).

I;m not sure what to do with Joakim Helmersson though. He's not getting any games in the jr's and I'm not sure I would be able to get him to move if I took over another team. :dunno:
Take over two and trade him?

It is geographical. I think the CHL website has a breakdown of it, or failing that it may be on wiki. I only know where the WHL gets...

39 points in 22 games & averaging just under a goal a game.....pretty good in my view :-)

So each months update are stacked numbers, right?

So they progress?

Surely I didn't play 27 games in one month.

I know! What's up with that? He just loves to start trouble and throw down but he just hasn't figured out how to come out on top! Maybe in time he'll start to collect some wins?

What's the +/- look like? My guy seems to put up a decent number of points but he's still riding an average rating below 7. I'm just trying to figure out why. Is he giving the puck away? I tried to make him a decent 2-way player.

Cause he loses all his fights. Worst goon ever.

But he wasn't meant to be a goon. He was just meant to be a little aggressive. 12 aggressive isn't so much. Is it?

4 in strength? He shouldn't have been. When I created him he had like a 10 in strength. The screenshot shows a 10 strength as well.

I think that should link to my screenshot.

EDIT:

BTW, I thought mental stats like aggression didn't raise so much with age?
