v6.3 of Pivot uploaded:

Fairly substantial update especially for NCAA players. NHL organizational re-rates have started, I am going to be focusing on implementing more of a attribute floor for NHL players, I like where the re-rates landed. Also making improvements for defensive players to make them much more viable options for your roster. Open to feedback!

General Updates:

NHL Updates:
- NHL organizational re-rating (players, prospects and RFAs) completed for: Anaheim Ducks, Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets, Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators and Seattle Kraken

NCAA Updates:
- Thanks to help/inspiration from Flinch and Penguinrevolt, we have remade the league structure for the NCAA D1 tournaments into one giant league. This is something we have been thinking about doing for a while, it's a little closer to real life and makes it more management for us when it comes to updating details like career histories. If the community strongly dislikes this change, I will reverse it and look for other options. I'm very interested in your feedback about this change. This will also fix the crashing when selecting all US leagues which we started experiencing last update.

British Updates:
- Updated EIHL foreign player and roster size rules based on 2021-22 season regulations -- thanks Archi and ChaiTiefling!!
- Updated EIHL and British Challenge Cup rules -- thanks Archi!!

Canadian Updates:
- Updated NOJHL rosters
- Added secondary Canadian citizenship for non-Canadian or American players who are considered domestic based on where they played junior. Feature request opened to add functionality to support this situation in the future, for now manual workaround -- thanks PensFan101!!
- Added support via 1.5 transfer rule to consider United States a domestic nation for all CHL leagues

Russian Updates:
- Further tweaking to KHL transfer rules per feedback from several folks -- thanks to everyone who provided feedback

Slovenka Updates:
- Added/updated coordinates for several cities, updated 2.Liga league structure team sorting, fixed playoff tree issues and added promotion/relegation between 1 and 2.liga. -- Thanks Punks_Not_Dead, penguinrevolt and Matee!!
- Updated several club and competition names -- thanks Matee!!
- Will update Hokejova liga, 2.Liga, U20 and U18 rosters and staff next update or patch the changes in late next week.

United States Updates:
- Combined USNTDP U17/U18 under the USNDP competition with the only change being upper age limit per competition. Interested in feedback/reports of issues!
- Updated USNTDP U18 roster

You need to opt into the EHM v1.5 beta. The old v1.4.1 is no longer supported.

Pivot v6.4 - Start of NHL season - posted

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback and helped with some testing between these last two releases, this is a big one! TBL to be updated shortly as well.

Two big updates in this release, for the first time since I started helping with TBL we have a full-time dedicated Swiss researcher, who actually works for one of the SL teams! This is a huge add for us! Secondly we have made some amazing updates in Russia with the help of new researcher Angry_Duck who somehow has access to the KHL financial data and we have FULL SALARIES for the KHL and staff!

Also notable are the massive CA changes for NA staff, I really need feedback with these changes! Scales are now the following (will adjust tiers for Europe later this year). This was intended to bring staff CA more in-line with players, really interested to see how this works out. We are hoping this also helps with staff regens as that pool gets really bad 10+ years into the sim.

NHL GM/HC: 150-200
NHL AGM/AC/Scout: 130-160
AHL GM/HC 110-140
AHL AGM/AC/Scout (CHL GM/HC): 90-120
ECHL All (CHL AGM/AC/Scout): 70-100
SPHL All: 50-80

- Greatly improved North American staff and re-tiered from major junior through the NHL. Looking for feedback on these changes, brings staff more in-line with players, should greatly improve staff pools over time.

- Updated NHL rosters as of the 5 PM submission deadline. Players assigned to minors/juniors as needed (AHL/ECHL rosters partially updated, to come when those are finalized after camps wrap up, will back-port into TBL).

Key highlights include more NHL organization updates, slow but steady and consistent progress there, I really like the way they are coming out. MASSIVE updates to the NCAA future commits and the leagues which feed into those programs. My extra_config size doubled in this release (over 2000 lines).

Some how when start a Game with it the NHL even with it selected can't pick a Team from NHL to GM might because added Kansas City Blades Kemper Arena because T Mobile Center missing and Orlando Seals to the NHL but haven't updated Schedule yet. Also one Club error.

Small update pushed, mainly wanted to get this out as it fixes some league structure issues raised to me regarding the NHL and AHL. Shouldn't impact your existing saves too much, not worth re-starting over (unless you are an Oilers fan because they are re-rated).

In the Japan League (previously the Asian League) on the rules page it mentions something about a Slovakian u20s team having some special rights? Seems strange I assume they are not involved with the Japan league

Also a general question please regarding mainly the UK league. I see it has max and min salaries set in the rules? Is this on purpose to help the AI team build?

Ahh I'll fix that, was for the PSK club that folded, just forgot to remove the rule. We put in min/max salaries for all leagues as well as national minimum wage details.

In 6.5.x yes, not sure what you mean with the other items? Are you saying the NHL structure is wrong or I should modify those dates because the structure is accurate for this season and the trade window should be opened a few days before July 1st (we use June 15th).

Did you install the 1.5 beta version?

Details on how to access the Public Beta can be found below:

- Open Steam
- Go to ‘Eastside Hockey Manager’ within your Steam Library
- Right-Click on the game and select 'Properties'
- Select the 'Beta'
- Via the 'Select the beta you would like to opt into' dropdown, select 'public beta'
- This will now begin the download process for the Public Beta update
- Close the Properties panel by clicking the ‘X’ in the top-right hand corner and launch the game when the download has completed
