In order to view the cool pics, go to the Portal site, click on Album which is located in the Navigation menu on the left of the screen and then click on Cool Pics.
Anybody can view the pictures but only those who have registered with the forum can rate pictures or leave comments.
Also, the way in which new cool pics are submitted has been changed. Rather than e-mailing myself or Octavian, registered users can now upload their pictures themselves. This is a very easy process:
When you are viewing the Cool Pics album, click on the button labelled Upload Pic. The next part is straighforward: simply fill in the details requested and then click on "Submit".
Pictures submitted by users are shown on the site once they have been approved by a moderator.
There are certain limits to the size and dimensions of uploaded pictures:
They must be no larger than 145kb, nor can they be larger than 806 x 600 pixels.
Over the past few months, I have received many cool pics from users. Due to problems with my internet connection and the fact that we were planning to improve the site, I didn't add many of the pics. If you find that a picture that you e-mailed to me is not on the site then feel free to upload it
